電腦輔助教學(Computer-assisted instruction; CAI) 是一種直接運用電腦交談模式來呈現教材,並控制個別化學習環境的教學過程(Hicks and Hyde 1973);但目前CAI設計多以教材呈現方式為核心,很少以測驗來輔助教學為目的。雖然過去已有學者提出練習式CAI (drill-and-practice CAI)選題策略的比較,但如何有效率的針對個人答題結果來做為選題策略依據,並提供適當的回饋機制,使所有試題都達到精熟標準,此部份仍有很大的改善空間;因此本研究針對CAI設計領域中的「練習式CAI」角度,提出一套以精熟學習理論為基礎的精熟測驗系統,同時加入時間參數來強化精熟標準的認定,讓使用者藉由有效率的測驗達到最佳的學習效果。
Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) refers to an instructional process whereby an interactive computer model is directly used to present the materials and control the personal learning environment. (Hicks & Hyde, 1973) But currently, the way how materials are presented is of the essence in the design of CAI, and tests are seldom employed for the purpose of teaching support. Although the comparison of item selection strategies for drill-and-practice CAI has been previously proposed by scholars, there is still large room for improvement about how to effectively form a basis for item selection strategies given individual answering results and to provide appropriate feedback mechanisms, so that all test questions will reach the level of mastery. This study uses the “drill-and-practice” CAI design to present a Mastery Learning Theory-based mastery testing system, and adds time parameters to reinforce conformity to mastery levels, allowing users to achieve the best learning outcomes by taking tests efficiently.
