Speed roller skating, in World Game 2001, were the events that team of Chinese Taipei win most medals. In Asian Cup,2006, our speed roller skating team also won both man and woman 300-meter-group gold medals. Speed roller skating had become an event in Asian Game, 2010 due to more and more people enjoyed it. We played well in speed roller skating, especially 300-meter competition. However, there was no many researches focused on the skill. The purpose of this research is to find the difference and correlation between stride, pace frequency and speed in the getout under different pace amounts (usual practice ± 2 paces). Objects are seven young top skater in Taipei. They have to complete the getout by three different pace amounts. The course was filmed by three JVC 9800U camera (120Hz) in two dimension. The data collected is analyzed by Kwon3D software and SPSS 10.0. One-way ANOVA was adopted to analyze the difference in the three getout of the objects.( α=.05). Descriptive statistics was adopted as to the difference between velocity, time, pace frequency, and stride in our objects. Conclusion showed that: first, better performance was noted as the pace amounts increase. Besides, bigger stride brought better performance though the correlation between velocity and pace frequency was controversial. It’s important for our objects to improve their muscular power balance. Finally, the reason of why all skaters turned run to glide in competition is not related to the speed and further research is needed.
