校園閒置空間再利用為樂齡學習中心之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討國民中小學校園閒置空間如何再利用為高齡者教育之學習場域,並以用前評估、規劃設計、用後評估三個規劃設計流程為架構,探究校園閒置空間再利用為樂齡學習中心之用前評估因子、規劃設計原則及現況、高齡者使用滿意度及效益,進而探討環境規劃之設計困境、因應策略及配套措施,以期提供未來教育權責單位再利用校園閒置空間規劃為高齡者教育政策之參考。本研究以訪談法及檢核表調查進行,並以我國辦理樂齡學習中心之國民中小學為研究對象,採立意抽樣方式分別自北、中、南選取4所樂齡學習中心作為檢核調查對象,從中邀請總計學校行政人員5位、參與高齡者10位為受訪對象。 根據研究結果,提出本研究的結論如下: 一、校園閒置空間再利用為樂齡學習中心受到終身學習、社區互動、聯外交通可及性之外部用前評估因子,及校園閒置空間釋出、建物結構型式及歷史價值、教育政策及經費挹注之內部用前評估因子的交織影響。 二、部分樂齡學習中心之地點配置及動線未符方便原則與可及原則,降低高齡者參與終身學習教育之意願。 三、樂齡學習中心多能提供富有舒適美感之學習場域提升高齡者學習興趣,但普遍缺乏明確標示符號系統。 四、校園閒置空間再利用為樂齡學習中心之環境規劃原則均強調符合社區總體營造、適用、方便、經濟效益。 五、樂齡學習中心多能透過提供符合適用、安全及方便性原則之細部設施,因應高齡者特殊空間使用需求,但無障礙原則仍有待加強。 六、再利用為樂齡學習中心對高齡者、學校、社區均產生實質效益,包含提供在地學習之終身學習教育、利於推廣代間教育,並再生為社區文化中心據點。 七、因人力及經費不足、及主政者更迭、以學生為使用主體的校園環境、地域及文化個殊性等因素,成為校園閒置空間再利用為樂齡學習中心之規劃困境。 最後,綜觀探討4所樂齡學習中心在人力、經費、空間規劃及時間開放方面之困境及因應策略,並建議提供能激發高齡者學習興趣之多元化課程作為配套措施。

The present thesis explores how unused spaces in junior high and elementary schools are utilized for the learning areas of senior citizens. Using pre-occupancy evaluation, planning and design, and post-occupancy evaluation as frameworks, the pre-occupancy evaluation factors of how unused spaces in junior high and elementary schools are utilized for the learning areas of senior citizens, planning and design principles and current situations, satisfaction and effectiveness of senior citizens are explored. Furthermore, the design difficulties of environmental planning, coping strategies and relevant measures are discussed for future reference of education units that utilize unused spaces on campuses for the learning areas of senior citizens. Using interviews and checklists as methods, research subjects are junior high and elementary schools that have learning centers senior citizens; purpose sampling method is used to select four senior citizen learning centers in northern, central, and southern Taiwan as research subjects; five administrative personnel and ten senior citizens are used as subjects. Research findings: I. Unused spaces in junior high and elementary schools utilized for the learning centers of senior citizens are influenced by inner and outer pre-occupancy evaluation factors II. The locations and routes of the some learning centers are not convenient and accessible, result in reducing senior citizens’ willingness to participate in the lifelong learning III. Generally providing a comfortable and pleasant learning area to enhance the interests in learning of senior citizens in the learning centers, but a general lack of clear signs IV. Unused spaces in junior high and elementary schools for the learning centers of senior citizens of environment programme the principle emphasized conforms to community development, suitability, accessibility, and economic efficiency V. Through the provision of the design principle of detailed facilities in the learning centers needs to include suitability, safety, and accessibility, in order to improve senior citizens’ satisfaction of spaces using, but the principle of accessibility remains to be strengthened VI. Benefits of unused spaces on campuses utilized for the learning centers of senior citizens, including provide local learning areas for senior citizens’lifelong learning and increasing opportunities for social interaction, providing an advantage to schools that promote learning among different generations of people, and Work in coordination with communities’ overall development to become the cultural centers of the communities VII. Due to lack of human resource and the change of manpower , lack of funds and funding slow, students are the main user of campus environment, geographical particularity and special cultural, become planning predicament when Unused spaces in junior high and elementary schools utilized for the learning centers Lastly, the difficulties and coping strategies in the areas of human resource, budget planning, space planning and opening hours are discussed comprehensively, and pluralistic courses that stimulate the learning desires of senior citizens are recommended.
