臺北市高中職學生知覺校園零體罰與正向管教實施現況之研究

A Study on The Perception of Zero Corporal Punishment And the Current Situation of Positive Discipline on Campus for Senior High School Students in Taipei City

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺北市高中學生對零體罰知覺與教師正向管教現況看法。研究採用問卷調查法進行,以自編「臺北市高中職學生對校園管教的實施現況問卷」作為研究工具。抽樣調查對象為臺北市12所公私立高中職學校的學生,共計發出1560份,回收1378份,回收率88.3%,其中有效問卷1272份,有效率92.31%。根據受試者的填答結果,以「描述統計」、「t 考驗」、「單因子變異數分析」、「皮爾森積差相關」及「逐步多元迴歸」等統計方法來進行資料處理與分析。 從研究中可發現高中學生對於零體罰知覺方面:有八成以上的高中學生對零體罰已有相當的覺察、認知與認同,其中有性別、類科及年級上的差異:女高中學生的零體罰知覺高於男高中學生;職業類科的高中學生在零體罰知覺的覺察上高於普通科學生;二年級的高中學生在零體罰知覺上較其他年級的學生為低。此外有五成八以上的學生對零體罰感到擔憂,其中公立學校的高中學生在零體罰知覺的擔憂上高於私立學校的學生。 至於教師正向管教看法方面:有六成九以上的高中學生認為當學生犯錯時教師會用一般管教措施來輔導同學,有七成二以上的高中學生認同學校及教師的正向管教,其中有性別、類科及年級上的差異:女高中學生對教師正向管教現況看法的認同男高中學生較高;職業類科的高中學生在教師一般管教現況的看法高於普通科學生;二年級高中學生對教師正向管教現況看法的認同較其他年級的學生為低。但仍有五成二以上的高中學生反應教師仍會對學生負面管教(如連坐處罰、因學生的學習不佳而有差別待遇,及對學生言語侮辱或施加肢體暴力)。 另外,本研究也發現高中學生的零體罰知覺與教師正向管教現況看法呈現顯著正相關,並且高中學生零體罰知覺對正向管教實施現況看法有顯著的預測力。 最後,本研究針對教育行政機關、學校、教師、家長、學生及後續研究者,提出相關的具體建議,供作參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of zero corporal punishment and the opinions of teacher’s positive discipline for senior high school students in Taipei city. “The questionnaire of the recent campus disciplinary rules for senior high school students in Taipei city” was used as the research instrument. A sample of 1560 general educational and vocational students from both public schools and private schools in Taipei city participated in the study. The valid questionnaires were 1272, marking the availability as 92.3%. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson product moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results indicated that an atmosphere of zero corporal punishment was perceived by more than 80% of senior high school students. A number of significant pupil sex, major, and grade differences were observed. The awareness of zero corporal punishment was perceived to be higher in female students than in male students. The awareness of zero corporal punishment was perceived to be higher for vocational senior high school students than general educational students. The perception of zero corporal punishment was lower in 2nd grade students than other grade students. On the other hand, more than 58% students concerned about the negative effects of zero corporal punishment policy. The worry extent on perception of zero corporal punishment for public senior high school students was higher than private school students. The results also revealed that the viewpoint of recent teacher’s positive disciplinary, more than 69% students saw teachers to react to students’ misbehavior by normal disciplinary rules. More than 72% students recognized teachers’ positive disciplinary, but some differences in sex, major, and grade existed. Female senior high school students experienced more teachers’ positive disciplinary than male students. The awareness of recent campus disciplinary rules in vocational senior high school students was higher than in general educational school students. Second grade students experienced teachers’ positive disciplinary lower than other grade students. However, 52% students reported some teachers still using coercive disciplinary, such as keeping classes in for detention, labeling students, insulting by language, and violating body. The results also showed that the perception of zero corporal punishment for senior high school students and the opinions of teachers’ positive disciplinary were positively correlated. The perception of zero corporal punishment for senior high school students was a valid predictor for the opinions of recent teacher’s positive disciplinary. Finally, the related specific suggestions to educational administrative organizations, schools, teachers, parents, students and follow-up research suggestions are proposed
