成人繪本閱讀行為之研究

A Study on Reading Behavior for Adult Picture Book

摘要


隨著繪本的蓬勃發展,近年來逐漸形成一個新概念,讓繪本市場分化出「成人繪本」走向。繪本不再是小朋友的專屬讀物,越來越多的成人一頭栽入繪本世界,創作者也開始為成人量身打造以成人閱讀為訴求的繪本。兒童繪本何時開始分化出成人繪本的走向?成人對於閱讀成人繪本的觀點、動機與經驗又是什麼? 本研究以成人繪本發展的歷史資料為背景,透過問卷篩選24名受訪者,進行半結構式深度訪談,以閱讀觀點、閱讀動機、閱讀經驗為架構探討成人閱讀成人繪本的閱讀行為。歸納分析成人繪本的範疇,並得出以下結論:1) 成人繪本是圖像閱讀世代的表徵,2) 成人繪本閱讀年齡主要為21-30歲的女性,3) 成人繪本的內容不全然是十八禁, 4) 成人繪本讀者閱讀動機主要為興趣喜好、學習參考、人際交流、心靈療癒、休閒娛樂等五大動機,5) 成人繪本讀者擁有選書重「書名」,購買重「內容」的行為表現,6) 成人繪本讀者主要資訊來源管道為實體書店、圖書館與朋友,7) 成人繪本讀者閱讀繪本的時機屬於偶發性與需求性,8) 成人繪本讀者傾向個人閱讀,分享交流則以面對面為主。

With the flourishing development of picture books, a new concept gradually formed and produced “adult picture book” in the market of picture book within recent years. Picture book is no longer only for young children; more and more adults are keen on picture books, and creators start to create picture books specific for adult to read. When did adult picture book appear from the market of children’s picture book? For adults, what are their perspective, motivation and experience when reading adult picture book? Based on the historical data of the development of adult picture book, this study selected 24 interviewees through the questionnaires and conducted a semi-structural in-depth interview with each of them to investigate adult’s reading behavior in reading adult picture book on the basis of the structure of reading perspective, reading motivation and reading experience. The following conclusions were obtained after the data were generalized and analyzed: 1) adult picture book symbolizes the generation of picture reading; 2) adults reading adult picture book were aged 21 to 30 females; 3) the contents of adult picture book were not totally related to erotic subject, 4) the reading motivations of readers of adult picture book mostly were the following five ones: interest, learning and reference, interpersonal exchange, soul healing, and recreation; 5) readers of adult picture book selected books judging by the “title”, and bought books judging by the “content”; 6) the major information sources of adult picture book were physical book stores, libraries and friends; 7) the timing for readers reading adult picture book were occasional times and when they needed to read them; 8) they tended to read them individually, and when they shared and exchanged opinions they did it face to face.
