極限跑者美感經驗之表現與詮釋

The Expression and Interpretation from Aesthetic Experiences of An Ultra Runner

摘要

本研究旨在考察極限跑者美感體驗之表現與內容，並加以詮釋。研究進路採狄爾泰的詮釋學角度，結合深度訪談法及文獻分析法，以超馬好手及冒險家林義傑為訪談對象，並以他的五本著作：《勇闖撒哈拉》、《跑出生命的寬度》、《林義傑大冒險》、《跨越心中的磁北極》，以及《決戰撒哈拉》為詮釋文本，帶著我本身關於跑步及美感體驗的前見解進行詮釋與理解。研究發現極限跑者的美感體驗表現為英雄感、孤寂感、鬥志感、關愛感等五十三種感受，背後的意義包括夢想、群眾、回憶、契合、解脫、精神、愛、滿足、變化、轉念及自然等，是為美感體驗的內容。詮釋結果發現，美感體驗是一種對形相的直覺，具有由內而外三個層次：回憶、意義、美感。極限跑者對運動體驗的回憶是美感體驗的核心，回憶所觸及的「當下」是運動體驗中令人印象深刻、歷久不忘的片段，由美感體驗的十一個內容構成；從當下那些片段中獲得的感受則為美感體驗的表現。

The study was to identify and interpretate the expression and meaning of aesthetic experiences from an ultra runner on Dilthey’s hermeneutic perspective. In-depth interview and literature analysis were adapted and the whole interpretation was based on Kevin, Lin and his written life story including “Running the Sahara,” “Running the Width of Life,” “Great Adventure of Kevin Lin,” “Crossing Polar Challenge in the Heart,” and “Challenging the Sahara.” Findings indicated that aesthetic expressions were shown as 53 different feelings, and the componenets behind were 11 meanings including Dream, People, Memory, Harmony, Relief, Spirit, Love, Content, Difference, Transition, and Mother Nature. To interpretate, aesthetic experiences are configurations shaped from intuition layered by three, from within named memory, meaning and expression. The core of an ultra runner’s aesthetic experience is his/her memory of athetic experiences, which always point back to meaningful and impressive moments. Feelings occurred at those certain time are called aesthetic expression.
