高職學生參與定向越野流暢經驗與團隊凝聚力及身心健康關係研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討參與定向越野前後對於高職學生流暢經驗與團隊凝聚力及身心健康各變項間的差異與相關情形。研究對象為研究者任教之一、二年級學生共計312人,於2010年9月至10月間進行連續六週共12節的定向越野課程,採用問卷調查法於課程前、後分別施測,問卷內容包括人口背景變項、流暢經驗、團隊凝聚力及身心健康四大部份,並輔以開放式題項以檢核量化結果,研究結果發現如下: 一、 定向越野能提升學生自覺身體健康狀況、運動喜愛程度及校園環境熟悉度。 二、 不分性別、年級、科別的學生參與定向越野後皆能有效提升流暢經驗、團隊凝聚力與身心健康。 三、 不同性別、科別、自覺身體健康狀況、喜愛運動程度、學校環境熟悉度在流暢經驗、團隊凝聚力與身心健康上均有顯著差異。 四、 男生在流暢經驗及身心健康的感受高於女生,而女生的團隊凝聚力則高於男生。 五、 流暢經驗、團隊凝聚力與身心健康間具有中度的相關性存在。 根據以上結果,定向越野除了能用於新生訓練的認識校園活動之外,更能做為改善學生體適能以及提升女學生運動能力的活動,此外,教師若能於體育活動之初,讓學生充分了解活動目標為何,並以循序漸進的方式使活動挑戰與學生技能達平衡,讓學生投入活動中得到成就感,將能使學生融入團隊並在身心健康上獲得滿足。

This research aimed to understand the relevance in vocational high school students’ flow experience, team cohesion and mental and physical health which occurred during the participation in orienteering. The relationships and differences between all these factors would be approached by using a quantitative and open-ended questionnaire. The total number of subjects was 312. They included first and second grade students from the National San-Chung Commercial and Industrial Vocational High School. The research was conducted during twelve orienteering courses in six consecutive weeks from September to October, 2010. The questionnaire was used before and after the courses. It included four sections: demographic, flow experience, team cohesion, and mental and physical health. The results were concluded as follows. 1.Participation in orienteering helped students better understand their own health and body condition, preferences in sports, and familiarity of surroundings on campus. 2.The students had effectively increased their flow experience, team cohesion, and mental and physical health after participating in orienteering. Furthermore, this positive result was not affected by their gender, age, and major. 3.The noteworthy differences could be found in flow experience, team cohesion, and mental and physical health. These varied in ages, departments, self-awareness of body condition, preferences in sports, and familiarity of surroundings. 4.Male students had better sensation in mental and physical health and flow experience than female students. On the other hand, female students had better performance than male students in team cohesion. 5.There was a medium level of relevance between flow experience, team cohesion, and mental and physical health. In brief, according to the ideas mentioned above, orienteering could not only be used as an activity to assist freshmen in being familiar with a new campus, but also improve students’ physical ability and encourage female students to participate in physical activities. Moreover, before the physical activity began, the instructor needed to particularly explain the purpose to students; after it started, the instructor also had to ensure students learned every new skill gradually. In this way, students were able to enhance their fulfillment by overcoming different levels of challenges in orienteering. Eventually, students had learned precious experience and obtained contentment in both mental and physical health and team cohesion.
