互動式電子白板應用於國中CPR教學之行動研究

摘要


心肺復甦術(Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, CPR)是人人必備的救命技能,然而在國中所編列的CPR課程乃偏重操作,對先備知識及學理的解說卻相當有限,而且教師在講解及示範時,也有無法就近看清步驟與重複觀看的不便。互動式電子白板(Interactive Whiteboard, IWB)具有整合教學資源與e化環境的功能,並提供多元的高互動性,若能善加應用並結合適當的教材與教學策略,將有助於提升教學的效能。本研究嘗試以互動式電子白板應用於國中CPR教學,期望藉自編多媒體教材以及在IWB-based的教學環境下,結合教學策略來提高學生的學習動機與教學的互動性,以改善教學的品質,並增進學生的參與度和自主學習的能力。 本研究採行動研究法,以新北市某國中八年級一個班級的30位學生為研究對象,在實施過程中,透過教師日誌、同儕教師觀察記錄、學生問卷與學生訪談等蒐集資料,進行質性分析。研究結果顯示,學生的學習動機明顯提升,而且適時調整教學策略後教學互動良好,也更切合學生學習的需求,觀察教師與學生對互動式電子白板應用於CPR教學,皆持正向的肯定與看法。

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is essential for rescuing survivals from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Everyone is a potential bystander CPR provider, so the above-mentioned basic life support training becomes important and should be educated. However, the current CPR curriculum in Junior High School is deficient in prior and theoretical knowledge, but focusing on performed skill instead. In addition, it’s inconvenient for all students to watch clearly in crowded setting while teachers demonstrate the CPR steps. Therefore, teachers have to repeat the whole procedure several times in order to make the point amply clear. Interactive whiteboards (IWBs) allow teachers to create plenty multimedia interactive activities with students by using interactive whiteboards’ templates. Hence, interactive whiteboards facilitate interactions among the teacher, the students, and the learning materials. This research aimed to find out the instructional strategies about how interactive whiteboard applied into classroom learning settings, and expects to promote the students’ learning motivation, engagement, active learning, and teaching performance. This study adopted Action Research approach, and took 30 eighth grade secondary school students in New Taipei City as subjects. In the implementation process, the qualitative analysis was executed through data collections such as the teacher’s journals, peer teachers’ observation records, students’ questionnaires, semi-structured interviews with students, etc. The findings revealed that the students’ learning motivation were promoted, and the classroom interactions were facilitated as well, through the timely and adequate adjustment of the instructional strategies, which were more relevant to meet students’ learning needs. Peer teachers and students hold the same positive views and attitudes toward CPR instructions with IWB.
