回家路上─我的慢跑環島經驗敘說

摘要


本研究採用自我敘說研究取向,並以小說體裁的書寫方式,呈現研究者的慢跑環島的經驗故事,其目的是為了探究慢跑環島對於個人多層次的意義和影響。故事內容係以發想、抉擇、計畫、體驗到歸來的歷程為軸線,闡述研究者在2012年1月16日至2月3日,歷時19天,共915公里的順時針慢跑環島經驗。本研究將題目訂為「回家路上」,是因文本內容蘊含了「家」的隱喻,而這個家代表了實體的家、家人、家人之情衍生的意指和直指、回歸到心中的真我。本文分為兩大部分,第一部分包含經驗故事及後記,主要是描繪慢跑環島經驗的具體面貌,並不帶有理論闡釋。其中,經驗故事又分為起身、追尋及回歸共三部。每部之區隔不僅是依時序或地理位置作為斷點,也同時考量個人心境於整體歷程中的重大轉折。本文擺脫傳統的論文寫作格式,並以第一人稱─我的角度出發,一方面希望藉此捕捉和具體陳述事件、關係和目的之間的細節,清楚呈現經驗的脈絡性及連續性,使慢跑環島經驗的面貌更為完整。另一方面,則是考量讀者的需求,期盼能以輕鬆活潑的筆調和自由的寫作風格之下,引起讀者的興趣,邀請讀者進入故事,隨著「文本我」身體、時間及空間的移轉,不斷變換閱讀位置,從中翻找及探尋慢跑環島的意義,並進而引發一些思考、衝擊或共鳴,甚至觸動自我實踐的力量,開展屬於自己的旅程和故事。

This study, based on self-narrative approach and written as a novel, was a story about my experience of jogging around Taiwan. The purpose of this study was about exploring the multiple influences and meanings of my experience of jogging around Taiwan in my life. My experience of jogging around Taiwan in the clockwise direction was a nineteen-day journey (from 16th of January, 2012 to 3rd of February, 2012). The distance of this journey was 915 km. The story of my journey started from inspiring, deciding the journey, planning the journey, experiencing to returning home. This study was named “On the way Home” as a metaphor for “home” in the context of the study. In this case, “home” referred to house, family, the feelings which were signified family and real me. The study consisted of two parts, which were the story of my journey and an afterword, which purely showed my experience of jogging around Taiwan without getting involved in any theoretical discussion. Furthermore, the story of my journey, according to the chronological order, geographical features and the significant changes of my mental state during the travel, was divided into three parts in terms of preparing, pursuing and returning. In order to meet the rules of conducting an academic research and engage the potential readers in the flow of this study, the second part of the study was about methodology, research methods and the process of this research. Instead of following the rules of traditional writing, this study was written from the first-person perspective. That was, by depicting the details of the events in the journey as well as the connection to the purpose of this study, I tried to show my experience and observations contextually and continuously. Moreover, I hope the lively story will arouse readers’ interests, and invite them to get into the story. In other words, while reading this study, readers could find themselves changing their points of view through reading the different parts of the study, and, ultimately, not only get the meanings of jogging around Taiwan, but also come up with some new thoughts and find some impacts on themselves. After reading this study, some of the readers may be willing to start their own journeys.
