摘要


本論文旨在如何運用試算表來平衡化學反應式,提供學生另外一種學習的方法,尤其是對學業成就較低的學生提供更多的幫助,達到因材施教的理想。透過本研究的試算表教學,可以做到資訊融入的教學,也可進行數學和自然與生活科技領域之間的統整課程之訓練。 根據物質發生化學反應前後,原子的種類、原子的個數不變,我們用聯立方程組型式來表示。透過試算表的運算,對於國中、高中、大學中所遇到的化學反應式平衡問題,都可以解決。 實驗組學生30人,經教學過程及進行測驗後,部份學生因缺席、或資料不足,予以刪除,全程參與人數共28人。參照組為五個班級的學生,共177人,沒有接受試算表教學。經過試算表處理後的S-P分析表,可以清楚地看出圖表所提供的訊息。發現以試算表教學的過程中,低學業成就學生的學習動機、意願增強。從學生的學習歷程檔案中也發現學生的迷失概念,教師可以透過畫面操作指導學生,糾正迷失概念。 最後以自由反應試題診斷分析,可知學生的語文智慧、邏輯數學智慧可能不是很好,但肢體動覺智慧經教師提供適當教材予以啟發,因此上機測驗的學習成就有進步,也就是透過學生肢體動覺智慧的學習,來使學生的語文智慧、邏輯數學智慧也能夠進步。

A teaching strategy was studied by using of spreadsheet in balancing a chemical equation coefficient. It offers students alternative helpful learning method, especially for low academic achievement students. One can achieve information technology integrated in teaching and train integration curriculum between mathematics and science-technology as well. Based on the conservation of mass, charge, the kind of atoms, the number of atoms before and after of a reaction, one could solve the coefficient in a chemical equation by a set of math equation with spreadsheet in junior high, senior high school and even university level, teaching. From analyzing the result of students’ manipulation with student-problem (so called s-p)chart with spreadsheet, we learned that the low academic students’ solving problem abilities improved greatly in balance a chemical equation, and the students like studying more and more. Teacher could also find the miss-conception of students from students’ studying portfolio, and then he could advise students directly from computer screen. We also analyze students’ studying portfolio with quantized free-response item test. The low academic students’ intelligences may not be all developed well, but we can develop multiple intelligences partly for this kind of students. From spreadsheet teaching, it also shows that one could develop students’ linguistic intelligence and logical-mathematical intelligence through bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.
