本研究旨在探討3D電腦繪圖軟體的學習成效。研究的對象為製圖科的學生,以3D電腦繪圖軟體、2D電腦繪圖軟體和萬能繪圖儀之應用為自變項,立體圖學習為控制變項,空間能力表現為依變項進行一學期的正常(未告知)教學。空間能力細分為立體旋轉空間定位能力、平面旋轉空間定位能力、平面轉換立體空間組織能力與物體多向空間組織能力等四種不同的表現。 依據研究架構與研究設計,以應用3D和應用2D電腦繪圖軟體之分組、以及應用3D電腦繪圖軟體和萬能繪圖儀之分組的製圖科二年級學生進行一學期的立體圖正常(未告知)教學後,對製圖科學生施以空間能力量表測驗,比較自變項在依變項的差異情形。 製圖科學生學習立體圖的研究數據採用SPSS 10.0軟體分析,結果如下: 一、應用3D電腦繪圖軟體在立體旋轉空間定位能力與平面轉換立體空間組織能力表現優於應用2D電腦繪圖軟體,且達到.05水準的顯著差異。 二、應用3D電腦繪圖軟體與應用2D電腦繪圖軟體,在平面旋轉空間定位能力表現與物體多向圖形空間組織能力表現則無顯著差異。 三、應用3D電腦繪圖軟體,在立體旋轉空間定位能力與平面轉換立體空間組織能力表現優於應用萬能繪圖儀,且達到.05水準的顯著差異。 四、應用萬能繪圖儀在物體多向空間組織能力表現優於應用3D 電腦製圖軟體,且達到.05水準的顯著差異。 五、應用3D電腦繪圖軟體與應用萬能繪圖儀在平面旋轉空間定位能力無顯著差異。 同時,本研究獲得如下之發現: (一)應用3D電腦繪圖軟體在立體旋轉空間定位能力與平面轉換立體空間組織能力表現有顯著的影響,符應上述空間能力量表以立體圖為題幹的特質。顯示,應用3D電腦繪圖軟體有效於立體圖繪學習。 (二)應用萬能繪圖儀在物體多向空間組織能力有顯著的影響,符應上述空間能力量表以平面三視圖為題幹的特質。顯示,應用萬能繪圖儀有效於平面三視圖學習。 (三)應用3D電腦繪圖軟體對平面旋轉定位能力與物體多向空間組織能力無顯著的影響,符應上述空間能力量表以平面視圖為題幹的特質。
Abstract The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of applying three dimension computer-aided design drafting software (3D CADD) to learn pictorial drawings for the students of drafting departments of high schools in Taiwan. SolidWorks software(3D CADD), AutoCAD software (2D CADD) and drafting machine were used and as independent variants in the study. The dependent variant was the spatial ability divided into four categories: Performance in locating 3D spatial rotation, locating planner spatial rotation, organizing ability to transfer 2D to 3D spatial and organizing ability of multi-direction object. According to the arrangement and design of the study, students of drafting department in second grade were divided into four groups. Two groups were assigned to use 3D CADD and 2D CADD, the other two were assigned to use 3D CADD drafting-machine drafting. The students of this study were under normal situation (without noticing) learn pictorial drawings for one semester. After learning, a spatial ability test was performed. The different scores of the between the independent variants were compare and analyzed by SPSS 10.0 software. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Applying 3D CADD shows better performance than applying 2D CADD in locating 3D spatial rotation and organizing ability of transferring 2D space to 3D space. The difference reaches the level of 0.05. 2. There are no significant differences in locating planar spatial between applying 2D CADD and applying 3D CADD. 3. Applying 3D CADD shows better performance than applying drafting machine in locating 3D spatial rotation and organizing ability of transferring 2D space to 3D space. The difference reaches the significant level of 0.05. 4. Applying drafting machine shows better performance than applying 3D CADD in organizing ability of multi- direction object. The difference reaches the significant level of 0.05. 5. There are no significant differences in locating planar spatial between applying drafting machine and applying 3D CADD. This study has following findings: 1.Applying 3D CADD has strong influence on locating 3D spatial rotation and organizing ability of transferring 2D space to 3D space. This is consistent with the characteristic of spatial ability test which frame focuses on the pictorial drawings. Consequently, applying 3D CADD is useful in the learning of the pictorial drawings. 2.Applying drafting machine has significant influence on the organizing ability of multi-direction object. This is consistent with the characteristic of spatial ability test which frame focus on the orthogonal drawing. Consequently, applying the drafting machine is useful in the learning of the orthogonal drawing. 3.Applying 3D CADD has no significant influence on locating planar rotation and the organizing ability of multi-direction object. This is consistent with the characteristic test which frame focuses on the planar drawing. Keywords: 3D computer–aid drafting software, spatial ability
