資優幼兒親職教育方案中的成長經驗

摘要


本研究採用質性研究方法,探究資優幼兒親職教育方案中家長們的成長經驗。資料的蒐集透過參與觀察、訪談和活動回饋表的方式,與十一個家庭進行為期一年的互動。 經過資料蒐集、分析與詮釋,研究主要發現如下: 一、方案中所提供的資優教育相關知識,不僅有助於家長對資優教育的認識更增進父母對子女的了解,有助於未來引導孩子學習發展的方向。 二、理論和實務並重的專題演講,深受家長們的喜愛。而讀書會和影片欣賞中的經驗分享,提供家長宣洩情緒、情感交流與相互支持的機會,從彼此身上學習到教養子女的態度與方法。 三、透過第二階段與家長共同設計的方案內容,提供父母最想要瞭解的資訊,增加家長學習的動機,發揮最大的成效。 四、父母在子女的教養上採取一致的態度,協調出一致的標準,能避免造成子女的混淆。 五、家長們對於方案內容和方式都給予相當的肯定與支持,希望日後仍有機會參與親職教育的活動。 整體而言,透過長時間、多元的資優幼兒親職教育方案,有助於家長在教養子女時的知識與技能,而方案成員間的相互支持與鼓勵,讓彼此在教養路上結伴同行永不孤單。

The growing experience of eleven families with gifted preschoolers were explored in this qualitative study. Data were collected within one year through observations, interviews and document analyses. As the results, five core themes were synthesized: (1)The program helped parents not only to gain knowledge relating to gifted education, but also to know better about their talented children. (2)Lectures in the program were popular with these parents. The experience sharing and discussions from both study groups and movies provided more opportunities for parents to seek for mutual supports and to exchange their ways toward child’s education. (3)The second stage program designed according to the needs of parents were more effective on information providing and participation motivation. (4)When parents showed consistent attitudes and standards, gifted child would not be confused and know what to do. (5)Parents were satisfied with this parental education program. They looked forward to participating in related activities in the near future. To sum up, this parental education program helped parents of gifted preschoolers to gain both knowledge and skills relating to gifted education. Supports and encouragements from participating in this program were the other gains for these parents.
