本研究主要目的在探討企業實務社群之發展。本研究為探索性研究,因此在研究方法上是以質性研究為研究程序,單一個案研究為研究策略,以半結構性的訪談大綱對V公司13位曾參與實務社群之成員進行深度訪談,將訪談內容轉錄為逐字稿,進行資料分析後,獲致以下結論︰ 一、 實務社群之特徵與型態 本研究歸納出實務社群之特徵有七項,包括非正式、主動與熱情、信任與了解、協同合作與凝聚力。本研究亦歸納出實務社群之型態有四種,包括母社群、由下而上的社群、跨部門社群與公司內外部社群。 二、 實務社群之組成要素 本研究歸納出實務社群之組成有四大要素,一為社群形成之環境脈絡,二為社群之知識主題,三為社群之社群機制,四為社群之實務運作。 三、 促動實務社群發展之構面 本研究歸納出有社群人員角色發展構面、社群建構程序發展構面與溝通技術發展構面。 四、 實務社群發展之障礙與對組織之影響 本研究歸納出實務社群發展之障礙有社群定位不清楚、分享的主題不夠豐富、過於正式化、社群組成人員的變動、階段性任務結束、日常工作實務干擾與公司重要活動影響等七項,而實務社群發展對組織之影響有產生多元連結、促進熱絡分享與討論與營造良好工作環境等三項。
The main purposes of this study were to explore the development of Communities of Practice in business case. In this exploratory study, author employed qualitative research method and single case study approach, and in-depth interviews for data collections. Author interviewed thirteen participants in communities in Company V, and coded in interviewed extractions for futher data analysis. Author found the following findings︰ 1. The characters and types of Communities of Practice This study induced five characters of Communities of Practice, including they are informal groups, active attitudes and passions among members, trust and understanding in communities, focused on collaboration, and cohesion occur to communities. Also, there are four types of communities were identified:mother communities, bottom-up communities, cross-functional communities, and communities that exists beyond and between business boundaries. 2. Components of Communities of Practice This study induced four components of Communities of Practice, including development context, knowledge domain, communities mechanism, and operating practice. 3. Dimensions that enable development of Communities of Practice Three dimensions were identified:development of role-play, development of constructive stages, and development of communication techniques. 4. Barriers for developing communities and their impact on organizations This study induced seven factors as Communities of Practice developing barriers. They are ambiguous communities position, knowledge domain is blankness, communities formalize itself, the change of membership, communities disband after tasks done, being disturbed by routines, and being suspended by business key activities. Also, Communities of Practice has affected organization in three positive results, including building multiple connections, catalyzing energetic discussion and sharing, and establishing better working environment.
