本研究旨在瞭解台北市成年視障者在休閒運動上的參與現況以及對於休閒運動訊息的取得和需求情形,以台北市六十一名視障者進行電話訪談,並對兩名視障者進行深度訪談。根據所得資料,以描述統計和卡方考驗進行統計分析,結果發現: 一、台北市成年視障者在休閒運動參與現況方面: (一)視障者平日有參與休閒運動的比率約佔55.1%。 (二)視障者每週參與休閒運動的頻率最多者是「一∼二次」。 (三)視障者從事的運動項目前三項分別是散步、游泳、登山和體操。 (四)視障者最常從事休閒運動的時間並不特定侷限於假日或非假日,而其最常從事的時段為上午,時間長短以半小時至一小時之間為最多。 (五)視障者通常從事休閒運動的場所以居家附近最多,而其到達的方式通常是步行。 (六)視障者通常從事休閒運動時的同伴以朋友為最多,而其從事休閒運動的動機以促進身體健康為第一位。 (七)視障者在從事休閒運動時的阻礙因素以交通工具為最主要因,而如果能夠排除阻礙,視障者未來最想從事的休閒運動項目為登山和散步。 二、台北市成年視障者在休閒運動訊息的取得和需求現況方面: (一)視障者獲得休閒運動訊息的管道以「親友告知」的比例最高,而不同年齡層、障礙程度和職業類別對於獲得休閒運動訊息最主要管道有顯著差異。 (二)大多數的視障者對於休閒運動訊息的取得情形和參與態度是「若接到訊息,樂意去參與」。 (三)多數視障者認為訊息是不足夠的,而不同障礙情形和獲得休閒運動訊息是否足夠具有顯著差異。 (四)視障者未來最希望透過視障組織獲得休閒運動訊息。 關鍵詞:台北市成年視障者、休閒運動
The purpose of this study was to explore the recreational sports participation of the visually challenged and how they acquire information of such activities. There were 63 subjects within this study, of which 61 were interviewed by telephone and 2 individuals participated in a more in-depth face to face interview. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the chi-square test. The results of this study were as follows: I. The Taipei City visually challenged adults’ participation in recreational sports: a. Of all the subjects interviewed 55.1% participate recreational sports. b. Most of the subjects stated that they participate in recreational sports 1-2 times a week. c. The 3 most popular sports were first, walking followed by swimming and then hiking with warm-up exercises. d. The subjects preferred time of exercise was mornings and that they devoted about half to one hour of exercise to each session. e. Their preferred place of exercise was close to their home to which most travel by foot. f. Subjects enjoyed most participating in sports with friends and their reasons for exercise were mainly for body health maintenance. g. The biggest obstruction to the subject ability to participate in recreational activities was lack of transport. II.How the visually challenged acquired information regarding recreational activities: a. Mostly, the source of information was family and friends. b. Most subjects stated that upon finding out about recreational information, they felt enthusiastic about participating. c. Most subjects feel that Taipei City provides insufficient information about recreational activities for the visually challenged. d. In the future, subjects hoped the best source of information would be a visually challenged organization. Key words: , recreational sports.
