現行國中社會學習領域教科書鄉土教育之內容分析研究

摘要


本研究旨在分析現行國中七年級社會學習領域教科書(康軒、南一及翰林版)的鄉土教育內涵,以瞭解教科書中鄉土教育內容與數量的呈現情形。本研究採內容分析法,以「主題」及「策略」類目為研究工具,對教科書中的文字與圖表進行鄉土教育之內容分析。資料分析分為兩部份:一為教科書中鄉土教育內容的定量分析,依據類目就各冊別與七年級教科書,進行「大段落」的次數與百分比之統計分析;二為教科書鄉土教育內容的定質分析,就教材文字及圖表所涉及的鄉土概念,進行內容摘要並詮釋意義。本研究結果如下: 一、就鄉土教育教材內容之比重,以康軒版所佔比重最高。 二、就鄉土教育主類目次數分析,在「關懷鄉土」之主類目,以翰林版所佔比 重最高;在「跨文化了解與尊重」之主類目,以南一版所佔比重最高;在 「全球化與世界觀」之主類目,以康軒版所佔比重最高。 三、就鄉土教育內涵主題類目分析,三家版本前三名之主題均為「地理與人文 環境」、「歷史發展」與「社會生活」。 四、各家版本使用之宣傳策略,均以「說明解釋」與「分項陳述」為主。 五、各家版本與鄉土有關之圖表插畫比重,以翰林版最高。 六、各家版本習作與鄉土有關之題目比重,以康軒版最高。 根據本研究之結果,提出下列建議: 一、對出版社編輯之建議: (一)宜多增加跨文化了解與尊重之教材。 (二)地理教材宜多增加地方鄉土。 (三)提升高層次之編寫技巧。 (四)善用多元化的編寫技巧。 二、對後續研究之建議: (一)在研究對象方面,可再對不同領域或甚至跨領域加以分析。 (二)在研究方法方面,可再採訪談、觀察及歷史研究等方法。 (三)在研究工具方面,可再研發情意與技能類目之分析工具。

The thesis mainly analyses the connotation of local education in the current 7th grade textbooks of social learning field (including the editions of Kang Hsuan, Nan I, and Han Lin) in order to comprehend the content of the local education and situation of quantity appearance. The research is based on content analysis and instruction of categories on “topic” and “strategy.” And, it is the analysis of words in the textbooks and the local education based on the charts. There are two parts in the data analyses: the first part is quantitative analysis of the content in the local education and statistical analysis of “whole paragraph” in the frequency and percentage according to the categories in each volume and textbooks of the 7th grade. The second part is qualitative analysis of textbook in the local education, summary of content and interpretation of meanings predicated on words of materials and local concept of charts. The result of the research is as following: 1. According to the distribution of the local education in the content of materials, Kang Hsuan occupies the most parts. 2. Based on frequency analysis of categories in the local education, Han Lin takes the most parts in the category of “local affection;” Nan I takes the most parts in the category of “understanding and respect of across culture;” finally, Kang Hsuan takes the most parts in the category of “globalization and world view.” 3. Based on the topic category analysis of connotation of local education, these three editions have top three topics: “geography and humanistic environment,” “historical development,” and “social life.” 4. The propaganda and strategy of each edition are mainly based on “illustration and interpretation” and “item statement.” 5. Han Lin takes the best parts on the charts and iconograph of each edition and local concerned topics. 6. According to the parts of each workbook and local concerned topics, Kang Hsuan takes the best. According to the result of the research, there are some suggestions as following: 1. Suggestions to publishing editors: (1) It may increase the material of across cultural understanding and respect. (2) In the geographical materials, it may increase more local geography. (3) It may promote the high level editing skill. (4) It may use more editing skill of diversification. 2. Suggestions to follow-up research: (1) In the aspect of researching object, it may have more analyses in the different fields or even across fields. (2) In the aspect of researching approaches, it may use the ways of interview, observing and historical research. (3) In the aspect of researching instrument, it may design more analyzing instruments of affective and psychomotor categories.
