對稱圖形應用於佛教文化的創作研究

「對稱」圖形，在大自然中十分的常見，這是宇宙普遍存在的現象與圖形，從古至今，人類利用「對稱」的宇宙現象從事造形的工作，包括神話傳說、祭祀、甚至發展出日常生活的美學，例如：建築、雕刻、繪畫?等，當我們看到對稱的圖形時，都會發出驚訝的讚嘆，多麼美麗的圖案啊！當它是對稱時，它變成一個神奇的圖案，產生神奇的視覺感受，這個「對稱」方法被設計研究者拿來加以利用了四、五千年了，至今仍歷久不衰，值得本研究好好去探討。佛教寺廟文化在我們的生活之中是那麼的接近，可是我們卻又對它了解不多，它是從那裡來？要教導我們往那裡去？我們的文化生活中只有表面的寺廟拜拜文化，卻沒有佛教文化，更不用說有佛教藝術，這個全球最偉大的宗教之一，台灣最多人共同的信仰與集體活動，能否透過更美的視覺形式，產生強大且深遠的影響？本研究的成果除了對稱的操作形式與對稱產生的美感與和諧做探討外，著重在佛教文化中對稱的形式與應用，利用對稱的操作方法，透過設計有別於目前傳統的佛教視覺文化。並希望在文化創意產業中，利用佛教的符號意義，來重新展現佛教的文化，除了可以更親近佛教，也可以創新美化佛教藝術，用美育來推廣佛教的文化，進而達到生活禪、美好人生的境界。

It is very rare in nature to see symmetric drawings, which are common phenomena in the universe. Since ancient times, the mankind has used the symmetric phenomenon of the universe to build shapes, including fairy tales, worshipping, and even modern aesthetics such as architecture, sculpture. When we see symmetric drawings, we can not but utter a sign of amazement for their beauty. When such drawings are symmetric, they become drawings of wonder, with wonderful visual feast. This method of symmetry has been persistently used till this day by researchers of design for four to five thousand years without letup. This is worth studying by this research. Buddhist temple culture has been so close to us in day-to-day living but we know little about it. Where does it come from? Where does it intend to lead us to? In our cultural life we only witness superficial ritual of worship and not Buddhist culture, not to mention Buddhist culture. Buddhism is one of the greatest religions in the world. It is a common faith and a group activity observed by the greatest number of people in Taiwan. It is possible for it to exert powerful and in-depth influence through more beautiful visual presentation? In addition to the exploration of the model of symmetric operation and aesthetics and harmony as a result, the achievement of this research stress on the symmetric model and application in Buddhist culture. By using symmetric operational method, design is employed to differentiate contemporary Buddhist visual culture. It is hoped that by using Buddhist symbols, we can reshape Buddhist culture with the development of innovative industries with cultural content. Through this we can, in addition to accessing Buddhism more closely, create innovative and beautified Buddhist art. We can apply aesthetics in the promotion of Buddhist culture, with the intent to achieve a better life and Zen in life.
