This study attempts to demonstrate the life experience profile of the low-income housing adolescents. The main idea is to understand the life experience of the low-income housing adolescents through their own perspective. Three major research questions in this study are the consciousness of poverty, daily life experience and the future planning of the low-income housing adolescents. The researcher selected An-Kang Community as the study area, which is one of the largest government built low-income housing. Accompanying participant observation, eight low-income housing adolescents are interviewed in depth by the researcher. The research finding are presented and discussed in sequence. In summary, the findings can be generalized into five distinguishing features, which are the negative and denial attitudes toward the community, the money-first value preference, the importance of peers influence, the hollow future consciousness, and the low participation of welfare service programs. It is hope from this study that youth workers should aware and respect the subjectivity of the adolescent, listening to their voices and designing the programs which can really meet their needs.
