面板產業技術多角化對經營績效之影響－技術資本調節效果的探討

摘要

企業通常利用成長潛力的開發來掌握成長契機，產品及市場的多角化不僅帶來企業經營範疇的擴大，更是追求成長的重要方式。產品多角化隱含著技術的多角化，但技術多角化策略並非都能成功，也有失敗案例出現。企業在選擇進行技術多角化及深耕技術資本的決策，亦是一項值得研究之議題。
台灣的面板產業已發展一段時間，本研究希望能透過台灣面板製造廠商資料及發展現況，探討在面板產業中，技術研發能力對企業績效所造成之影響，以了解面板製造廠商在制定技術策略所應考量之因素。
實證結果發現在銷售收入方面的績效均支持本研究之假設，但在資產報酬率績效方面，並不支持本研究之假說二。

The firms usually get the growth chances through developing their potential. Product and market diversification doesn’t only expand the business scope of the firms. They are the important ways to pursuing success, too. In the meantime, the product diversification implies the technological diversification, but this strategy doesn’t always lead to success. It’s worth to study the decision of technological diversification and Technological capital building.
The TFT-LCD industry in Taiwan has been developed for a long time. We hope to understand how the R&D capability to influence the firms’ performance, especially in this industry. We build our hypothesis via the data and information of this industry.
Based on our study, we find these hypothesis were supported in the sales, but the H2 didn’t supported in ROA of their performance.
