In the past few years, bullying events are emerging, even grow to intensity. According to researches, if students have been bullied for a long time, their physical, mental development and the attitude of treating people would be affected seriously in the future. This study focuses on the phenomenon of being bullied in junior and senior high schools, using “Taiwan Education Panel Survey”(TEPS) as samples of the analysis, further identifying its variables to construct a model of the phenomenon of being bullied, and compare the differences between models of junior and senior high schools. This study used Structural Equation Model (SEM) for the statistical analysis, using negative emotions and deviant behavior as an intermediary variables. Previous studies mostly only show some of the relevant factors would directly affect the phenomenon of being bullied. However, by integrating previous literatures and the empirical results, we found that gender, family crisis events and peer character not only have a direct but also indirect impact on the phenomenon of being bullied though deviant behavior and negative emotion in junior high schools. Concerning senior high schools, we found that gender, campus environment and peer character not only have a direct but also a indirect impact on the phenomenon of being bullied though deviant behavior and negative emotion. Finally making recommendations to reduce teenagers’ fear of being bullied and wish it can effectively suppress the phenomenon of being bullied.
