活性污泥法為目前世界上的城市污水最常用的處理方式,此法具有諸多優點,然而在處理過程中,往往會因微生物增殖而產出大量的廢棄活性污泥(waste activated sludge,WAS),這些廢棄污泥,濃縮性差,且污泥的處理費用高昂,以常規的污泥處理和處置需要花費大量的人力和物力,若處理不當,很容易造成二次環境污染,其中的有毒物質會直接影響人體健康和安全。因此在本論文研究中,藉由從環境中篩選優勢菌種,並將其組成複合優勢菌,開發具安全、無毒、無害及不破壞生態環境特色之污泥減量生物製劑,再投加到污水處理系統中進行處理,研究水中COD、SCOD、SS、VSS等,探討生物製劑對污泥減量之處理效果有效減少污泥量,同時探討經處理後之數值變化,經實驗結果證實,在第5天時污泥減量率可達34.3 %,能夠有效降低污泥量。
