運用8D手法降低背光模組不良率

Using 8D Method to Reduce Defect Rate in the BLM Assembly Process

摘要


生產管理的目的乃在於以最佳製程及最少準備成本下,滿足顧客對產品品質及多樣化的需求,以便在日益競爭的市場上,取得領先的地位。故運用品質手法改善生產製程,在現今製造業是一個非常重要的課題。   本研究以「8D手法(8 Disciplines)」作為本研究的手法及工具,在考量薄膜電晶體液晶顯示器(Thin film transistor liquid crystal display, TFT-LCD)背光模組(Backlight Module, BLM)製程中,異物不良造成畫面顯示形成點狀(黑點或亮點)不良比例為最高,因此須考量生產製程中各項條件之方法需求,以8D手法做為工具,找出製程中造成微粒殘留量過高的主要原因後加以改善,驗證對策實施後有改善效果,再將對策標準化以預防問題點再次發生,探討最佳製程並建立推移管制圖做為監控各項製程指標。   結論顯示本研究經8D手法改善後,異物不良率從8.45%降低至6.44%有效改善23.8%,亮點不良率從6.78%降低至4.56%有效改善32.7%,除了提升BLM產品出貨品質,也能提高客戶對個案公司的品質信任感,創造雙贏局面。

The purpose of production management is to satisfy customers' demand to product quality and diversification under optimal procedure and minimum cost, in order to achieve a leading position on more competitive market. Therefore, conducting quality method to improve production procedure is very important nowadays. The research takes 8 Disciplines as methodology. In terms of the procedure of backlight module of TFT-LCD, particle issue makes the highest punctate defect ratio, hence each conditional solution needs to be concerned. Regarding 8 Disciplines as a tool, find the main reason that makes the highest particle residual volume on the procedure. After verifying the effective solution, then standardized the solution preventing the problem happened again, exploring the optimal procedure and establishing the trend chart to monitor each production index. The research results indicate that after 8 disciplines improvement, the black spot defect ratio decreases from 8.45% to 6.44% ; white spot defect ratio decreases from 6.78% to 4.56%. Except for increasing the quality of BLM shipment, can also improve the quality of customer trust in the company of the case, creating the win-win situation.
