國小學生文化資本與資訊教育學業成就關係之研究

摘要


二十一世紀的今天,我們的生活時時刻刻都與電腦發生密切的關聯,幾乎達到「處處有電腦」、「無處不用電腦」的境地。政府在資訊教育課程發展方面,更是積極有計劃的進行軟、硬體的建置與更新,如今,國小的資訊教育已趨系統化、結構化、制度化。 本研究目的在瞭解雲林縣國小學生不同背景變項之差別情形、文化資本現況與資訊教育學業成就之關係。本文中,文化資本包含內化形式文化資本(指家庭對資訊活動的參與、文化傾向的培養、良好生活及學習習慣的建立)、具體化形式文化資本(指家庭資訊硬體設備的投資以及資訊圖書的閱讀量)及制度化形式文化資本(指父母親的教育程度)等三部分。本研究採用問卷調查法,以改編之「國小學生文化資本與資訊教育學業成就關係之調查問卷」作為資料蒐集的工具,以雲林縣地區九十九學年度公立國小普通班六年級學生為研究對象,總計有效樣本共585份。根據資料分析結果,本研究結論如下: 1. 不同個人及家庭背景的國小高年級學生在文化資本具有顯著差異。高職業社經地位、高家庭收入、家庭結構完整的家庭,其子女的文化資本愈高,而性別及居住地區則與文化資本無直接相關。 2. 不同形式文化資本的國小六年級學生在資訊教育學業成就具有顯著差異。文化資本愈高,學業成就愈高。只有內化形式文化資本之分層面「文化培育」與具體化形式文化資本之分層面「軟體圖書」與資訊教育學業成就無顯著相關。 根據上述研究結論,提出建議,以供教育行政機關、學校以及未來研究之參考。 關鍵字:文化資本、資訊教育、學業成就

In the 21st century, human society has entered the information technology age. Almost every aspect of our lives are closely associated with the computer(IT). Our government is planning to actively use hardware and software in developing at the elementary levels. Nowadays, Information education becomes more systematic, structured and institutionalized. This study aims to explore the Relationship between Elementary School Students' Cultural Capital and Academic Achievement in Information Education for elementary school sixth-grade students in Yunlin country. In this paper, the cultural capital includes three parts which are the embodied state, the objectified state, and the institutionalized state. The embodied state is participation in cultural activities and establishment of good living and learning attitude. The objectified state includes the investment in hardware equipment and software books. The institutionalized state is referred to academic background of both parents. There are 585 elementary students participating in this study. According to the results of the data analysis, the research findings are as follows: 1. There are significant differences in cultural capital for personal and family backgrounds of students. High occupational socioeconomic status, high family income, family structure all affect their children's cultural capital .But the survey shows no significant differences in cultural capital between different genders and residential areas. 2. There are significant differences in academic achievement between different forms of cultural capital in information education for the sixth grade students. The higher cultural capital is, the better academic achievement is. However, there is no remarkable correlation between cultural cultivation and academic achievement. So is for software books. Based on conclusions mentioned above, suggestions are provided for educational administrative authority, schools and future research.
