身處台灣女性對於清潔貼身衣物已是必要日常活動,氣候溫熱且終年潮濕,容易孳生細菌在生理衛生考量下。多數女性用徒手清潔貼身衣物,少數則力用一般家用洗衣機;無論手洗或機洗,都有其問題存在,手洗貼身衣物,容易造成洗滌劑殘留而誘發過敏問題,此外,徒手無法確實擰乾貼身衣物,且貼身衣物長時間處在潮濕狀態容易有滋生細菌的生理衛生疑慮,細菌孳生將大大提高女性生理感染及發炎機率。另外,選擇用一般家用洗衣機清洗內衣,但多數女性喜好選擇較脆弱棉或絲的貼身衣物,馬達驅動的家用洗衣機高轉速的洗滌方法,易造成貼身衣物損壞,且高速轉速瞬間產生的大扭矩將造成內衣內鋼圈變形,再者,僅僅清洗內衣,卻使用一般家用洗衣機,對於水電能源也是一種浪費。 本研究嚐試藉由洗衣相關分析之研究,提出針對女性貼身衣物脫水機之設計方針,藉此研發出專用於女性貼身衣物之非電力驅動小型脫水機,具有不傷貼身衣物材質及鋼圈且有足夠脫乾衣物轉速之功能。 本研究招募3位受測者進行設計評估問卷的回饋。最後,討論評估回饋結果與設計方針之適切性,提出設計方針之修正建議。
Based on the reasons of feminine hygiene and our high-humidity climate, it is an essential routine for all females in Taiwan to wash their undergarments daily. Most females in Taiwan wash their undergarments with their bare hands. Few females use domestic washing machine to clean their undergarments. Both methods of washing have their own pros and cons. In the case of hand washing, it is difficult for females to drain their undergarments of water due to their limited strength. Besides, moist undergarment can be easily become moldy resulting in infectious diseases. Domestic washing machines use high r.p.m motors which create a strong torque in a short period of time which are strong enough to damage the underwire design within the most bras. Moreover, the two materials females like to choose for their undergarments, silks and cottons, are too fragile to be washed using domestic washing machines. In addition, using domestic washing machines for only washing a pair of undergarments is a waste of water resources. Our study has used a series of experiments for our washing-undergarment-related research. Based on the results of the research we have come up with the design principles for a small washing machine specializing in feminine undergarments. This washing machine is equipped with a spin cycle with enough r.p.m to drain moist undergarments of water without damaging them. Study has recruited three people to process the design evaluation. Eventually, the study has discussed the appropriateness of design principles and evaluation results and has launched a modified design principles.
