This thesis is an artist statement of my graduate piece, “Solitude.” It is an animated short film about a journey of self-exploration. From fearing to accepting solitude, I learn and grow as an artist and person. This work is to reveal my experiences in the past and to share my new findings in the present. Through the discovery in the creation process, I am able to understand solitude in another level and ensure my identity once again.
