摘要

此篇論文，整理我從2004到2013年關於寶卡卡這個角色的起源與成長，反映我在不同時期的生活與人生觀。
《莫名，奇妙》為論文名稱，取自成語「莫名其妙」，意指事情很奇怪，說不出道理來。並以「奇妙」取代「其妙」，象徵我在創作
的歷程中心境的轉換，如何從困頓、迷惑到覺得一切如變魔術般的奇妙。Poly是多元、多樣的意思；Chromatic是有色的、彩色的、充
滿顏色的意思。Polychromatica則是結合兩者，並加以拉丁化的新字，意思是多彩繽紛的名詞。
本文第一章 緒論，將創作過程與生活事件整理後以時間軸表示各個時期所關注的議題。第二章 創作緣起，介紹寶卡卡這個角色的由
來與風格的確立。第三章 小方塊系列，講述這系列作品的產生及分類論述。 第四章 夢想的實現，介紹在芬蘭交換學生時受北歐漫畫
家影響以及回國後作品風格的轉變。第五章 結論，當初進研究所前的期許與達到目標後的反思，並設立下個階段的方向。

This essay is a retrospective of the origin and growth of Pokaka, a character in my comics who reflects my life and
my view of life during different periods.
“Polychromatica” means things happen without reason and expectation, symbolizing my mind’s transition from feeling
frustrated and puzzled to thinking that everything that happen is as peculiar as magic. Poly means various and
diverse, while Chromatic means colorful. The word “Polychromatica”is a latinized compound noun from these two words, meaning colorfulness.
The first chapter, “Introduction”, summarizes the issues of different periods through a timeline which shows the
correlation between my creation phase and life stage. The second chapter, “The origin of creation”, introduces the
origin and the style of Pokaka. The third chapter, “Grid series”, investigates the origin and classification of
this series of works. The fourth chapter, “The fulfillment of dream”, introduces the influence of Northern European
artists during my study as an exchange student in Finland, an experience that has impacted my creation style. The
last chapter, “Conclusion”, is about my own expectations before entering graduate school, and the introspection
after accomplishing the goal. All of these point out a direction of my next phase.
