摘要

在建築設計的過程，有相當多的因素會影響設計策略與發展，二元性的思考可幫助設計者身先行簡單的整理思緒，由簡入繁的一層層進行設計過程。本論文並非由二元對立的論點來取代任何現有的設計方法論，而是期望藉由此方法來剖析建築上的概念呈現。

此論文試圖從二元性之普世價值為基礎，將二元性的意義藉由各種文化之下的交集解釋，因此得知二元性必須建立在兩元對比之狀態來產生出二元性的效應，而在對比過程會有程度上的差異，將差異的多寡分類來討論，這為此論文最主要支架構。

本研究之二元對立可分成兩大類：靜態對比與動態對比。

1)_靜態對比，首先以亮與暗或是圖地反轉等方式來分析建築的呈現，從中獲得這種二元對立的方式是如何借助人的感知而產生出劇烈的對比狀態，將這樣之狀態分類成完全極端與完全沒有的兩種對比。

2)_動態對比，將二元性應用在人的活動與時間序列上，因這兩種因素會階段地改變人類行為狀態，因應此狀態產生出相對應的空間或是機制，並且討論的是建築如何產生運動的狀態和符合時間性的設計策略。

因此，從上述兩種二元性的設計操作中，可歸納出此種設計思考方式確實可以幫助設計者在邏輯上的自我辯證以及設計之資訊化，其最終希望設計思考可被複製、仿製或產生其他參考價值。

At architecture design processing there has many factor affect the strategy and develop. Duality thinking can not only help designer to simply clear mind at beginning, but advance the processing from simple to complex by layer to layer. The thesis do not replace any methodology by duality thinking, but I expect to analyze architecture concept representation by this way.

The thesis tried basing on the duality of universal value, and explain the duality to cross over culture. Therefore, duality must to build up elements contrast, and there has different level by contrast. I use the different level contrast to build this thesis.

The thesis classify duality by two part: Dynamic Contrast and Static Contrast.

1)_Dynamic Contrast, at first using bright-dark or figure-ground to analyze architecture which the contrast state how helping people to perceive the space. I classify extreme contrast and elimination contrast.

2)_Static Contrast, Duality Trying to apply to human activity and time sequence, because of the effect may change human behavior. According to this situation producing corresponding space or mechanism, and discussing architecture how to create motion state and timeliness strategy.

Hence, by two kind of contrast, concluding to this methodology can supply designer to dialectic by self and informatization. At last, the thesis expect design to copy, imitate or others value.
