摘要


近幾年來,全球產業環境快速變化,創新已變為高科技產業來提升經營績效的主要因素之一。而人力資本則是創新活動的主要來源。人力資本代表員工的工作能力和員工的專業知識。本篇研究主要探討人力資本在不同的研發程度之下對於企業的經營績效有何不同的影響。因此本研究利用台灣的高科技產業為研究對象,研究期間為2005年至2009年。從實證研究結果發現,員工的教育水準、平均服務、平均年齡對於高科技產業的經營績效有顯著的影響。當員工教育水準越高和服務年資越久對於高科技產業的經營績效呈現正相關,但對於員工平均年齡呈現負相關。然而在本研究中,再將高科技產業劃分成高研發和低研發兩種不同的群組,經過實證結果發現,在高研發的企業,員工教育水準越高和員工平均服務年資越低對於企業的經營績效越好,但在低研發的企業中則和高研發企業的實證結果呈現相反的情況,因此也證明了高研發企業的經營績效比低研發企業的經營績效較為良好。

In recent years, global industrial environment has been changing, so innovation is one of the important factors in increasing firm performance. Human capital is the origin of innovation, and the importance of human capital has improved gradually. Human capital represents knowledge and working ability of employees. This study finds that human capital has differential impact on firm performance in different R&D intensity high tech firms in Taiwan. Fist, the result shows that education level, employee service year, and employee age have significant impact on firm performance for high tech firms. Second, the result shows that education level and employee service year have differential impact on firm performance for high and low R&D intensity high tech firms. Employee age also has different impacts on firm performance for high and low R&D high tech firms, but it is not significant. Accordingly , this study suggests that education level, employee service year, and employee age can affect firm performance. Besides, the regression analysis indicates that education level and employee service year have differential impact on firm performance performance for high and low R&D intensity high tech firms.
