台灣嬰兒潮世代高學歷女性活躍老化認知與學習需求之研究

A Study on High-educated Female Baby Boomers’ Perceptions toward Active Ageing and Their Learning Needs

摘要


高齡化社會要面對的是高齡者如何生存與學習的基本問題,學習可以讓高齡者獲得生活所需技能,對自己的生活更有掌控力,讓自己保持健康狀態。本研究旨在探討台灣嬰兒潮世代高學歷女性活躍老化學習的重要性認知及學習需求。針對15位嬰兒潮世代高學歷女性,研究方法以深度訪談法,和問卷調查法進行混合研究,歸納出以下發現:(一)嬰兒潮世代高學歷女性對活躍老化認知良好;(二)嬰兒潮世代高學歷女性對活躍老化的學習偏好為學習時間在週間白天、學習方式多元、學費低廉;(三)嬰兒潮世代前期認為參與活躍老化學習最重要的目標是「產生行動,並繼續學習」,嬰兒潮世代後期認為參與活躍老化學習最重要的目標是「學習新知」和「產生行動,並繼續學習」;(四) 嬰兒潮世代高學歷女性在活躍老化學習層面的認知,嬰兒潮前後期都認為「心靈成長類」最為重要;(五) 嬰兒潮世代前期高學歷女性對於活躍老化學習主題,認為「緊急通報」、「規律運動」「健康知識」、「保健資源」、「活化記憶力」、「家人相處」、「親友照顧」最為重要;嬰兒潮世代後期高學歷女性認為「居住安全」、「規律運動」「睡眠品質」、「學習正向思考」、「家人相處」、「志工服務」、「親友照顧」最為重要;(六) 嬰兒潮世代前期高學歷女性在活躍老化學習層面的學習需求,以參加「運動保健類課程」和「心靈成長類課程」最踴躍;嬰兒潮後期高學歷女性以參加「貢獻服務層面課程」最踴躍;(七) 嬰兒潮前期的高學歷女性參與「規律運動」、「學習閱讀」、「信仰學習」、「社團活動課程」課程最為踴躍;嬰兒潮後期的高學歷女性參與「緊急通報」、「居住安全」、「交通安全」、「規律運動」、「學習閱讀」、「探討生命意義」、「信仰學習」、「社團活動」、「志工服務」最為踴躍。本研究根據研究結果,提出以下建議:(一)因應嬰兒潮世代的退休浪潮,人力資源再開發是首要之務;(二) 運用網路與虛擬社群,推展對活躍老化認知有益的資訊;(三) 建立嬰兒潮世代女性學習特色的本土理論;(四) 讓女性成為活躍老化推動的舵手;(五) 以在地老化為核心,政府與民間建立合作網路;(六) 建立高齡學習的3C模式:便利、便宜、愉悅。

The basic problems the ageing society facing to are how the elderly citizens live and learn. Learning makes the elder attaining new skills for their living needs, and sensing the power of controlling their own lives, which help them remain healthy conditions. The purpose of this study is to understand high-educated female baby boomers’ perception toward the importance of ageing learning and their learning needs. The research method of this thesis is based on in-depth interviews with fifteen high-educated female baby boomers, and investigated with a questionnaire survey. The main findings are concluded as following: (1) The perception of high-educated female baby boomers toward the importance of ageing learning is excellent. (2) The learning biases of high-educated female baby boomers are in favor of learning in the Day-time during weekdays, and in multiple methods with inexpensive cost of tuitions. (3) The prior baby boomers consider to take action so as to keep learning as the most important goal of participating in active ageing learning. The later baby boomers consider the most important goals of participating in active ageing learning are to learn something new and to take action so as to keep learning. (4)High-educated female baby boomers of both periods think that the most important perception toward active ageing learning is the species of spiritual growth. (5)The most important learning issues of active ageing for prior high-educated female baby boomers are considered to be “urgent notification”, “regular exercising”, “health knowledge”, the resource of health care”, “activating memory”, “getting along with family”, and “being looked after by relatives and friends” dimensions. The most important learning issues of active ageing for later high-educated female baby boomers are considered to be “resident safety”, “regular exercising”, “sleep quality”, “positive thinking”, “getting along with family”, “volunteer service”, and “being looked after by relatives and friends” dimensions. (6)About learning needs, prior high-educated female baby boomers are more willing to participate in “exercising and health care” and “spiritual growth” dimensions; later high-educated female baby boomers are more willing to participate in “contribution to service” dimension. (7)There are most participants of prior high- educated female baby boomers in “regular exercising”, “learning and reading”, “religion learning”, and “club activity” courses. There are most participants of later high-educated female baby boomers in “urgent notification”, “residential safety”, “traffic safety”, “regular exercising”, “learning and reading”, “exploring the meanings of life”, “religion learning”, “club activity”, and “volunteer service” courses. According to the results, this study gives following suggestions: (1) With the tides of baby boomers’ retirement, redevelopment of human source is the priority task. (2) To make good use of Network and virtual community is beneficial for popularizing the perception of active ageing. (3) Set up theories of local female baby boomers’ learning characteristic. (4) Let females play a pioneer part in motivating active ageing. (5)The government establishes a cooperation network with the civil at the core of ageing in place. (6)Set up the 3C learning modes of the elderly: Convenient, Cheap, and Cheerful.
