We report on our investigation of the excitation and interaction of surface plasmonic waves with 3D-nanostructures on silver surfaces. We excite surface plamon polaritions (SPPs) by focus 532nm laser beam on the groove that we fabricate on the silver film with electron beam lithography (EBL), and describe the propagation of the surface plasmon wave by near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM). We vary the length and width of the groove and measured the strength of the excited SPP waves analysis of SPPs excitation. We also characterize the propagation of SPPs wave through a dimple feature and microstructure fabricated with EBL on Ag surface.
