摘要


由於視訊會議必須仰賴網路傳輸。對於跨網域與跨服務的提供者無法明確保證End-to-End網路的傳輸品質,所以視訊會議服務鮮少有業者以公眾服務營運方式對外提供。此外,業者限制使用者只能使用自家網路以確保傳輸品質。而使用者在購買會議服務時,必須事先確認會議成員與固定節點還有專線頻寬資源,另外傳統視訊會議系統大多屬於集中式架構,這樣雖然管理上方便但對於使用者來說,使用上並不彈性且服務價格昂貴。因此本論文提出結合內容傳遞網路(CDN) 的階層式 P2P視訊會議架構,取代傳統集中式架構,利用資源分享的P2P來減少成本;再以CDN的概念彌補P2P資源不穩定之現象,以確保會議順暢。 本論文主要是在P2P-SIP的環境下,利用先前研究的P2PSIP視訊會議系統並加入了CDN來設計一個結合CDN的階層式P2P視訊會議架構。利用Location-based的階層式疊層網路架構,減少實體網路與疊層網路的落差而產生的網路延遲。而為了讓整個會議的建立更快速,本論文也設計了結合CDN的P2P視訊會議資源註冊及系統控制機制,並加入了有效的服務搜尋機制,挑選最適合的服務資源給使用者。最後使用模擬的方式來驗證與分析此架構的可行性。

Video conferencing is dependent on the internet. Because the internet service provider cannot guarantee the transmission quality of the end-to-end network, there is few provider to provide video conferencing services publicly. In addition, the service provider also limits users to use its own network to ensure the transmission quality. Moreover, it must be confirmed with the members and bandwidth resources of the conference before they purchase the services. However, the traditional video conferencing systems are mostly centralized architecture, it is easy to be managed but is not flexible. The prices are expensive for the general internet users. Therefore, this thesis proposes to integrate the concept of content delivery network (CDN) and Hierarchical P2P video conferencing architecture to replace the traditional centralized architecture. The P2P sharing resources can reduce the service costs, and use the concept of CDN to enhance the resource stability issues of P2P. The integrated architecture can ensure its smoothly. This thesis is based on P2P-SIP environment, the CDN is integrated into the hierarchical P2P video conferencing architecture well. The location-based hierarchical network architecture is used to reduce the latency of P2P resource searching between the physical network and logical network. In order to establish a conference fast, the mechanisms of conference resource registration and search over P2P and CDN are designed. Finally, the simulation results show that our proposed system is workable and the performance is accepted for general video conference services.
