從日治時期洋樓式住宅探討台灣住居空間的轉變-以中部地區為例

摘要

在日治時期吸收了經由日本殖民轉化的西方文化，傳統住宅在此時亦融合了當時流行的西方樣式。台灣洋樓住宅在日治時期後，漸漸西化演變成現今的現代住宅，本研究欲探究其中的演變脈絡及對現代住居空間的影響。本研究利用文獻分析與個案比較，針對中部地區的洋樓住宅，分析案例中之埕空間、廳堂、簷廊、樓梯及廁所在洋樓中與傳統合院之差異。研究結果為台灣合院精神雖在此時產生改變，但深厚的生活倫理觀念並未完全西化，也沒有摒棄台灣傳統對稱的模式。在住居空間中，現代化的過程融合了「機能導向」的重視與「西洋風格」的吸收。日治時西方思潮的改造運動，反映在台灣洋樓式住宅上，其承接了傳統合院的精神又吸收融合了外來的風格，造就了此時期近現代化的住居空間現象。

Taiwan traditional house absorb and combine western style during Japanese colonization period. Taiwan western-style house convert into modern house after Japanese colonization period. This study will figure out the evolution of context and the impact of modern house. Research methods is Document analysis and case comparison. It will focus on central Taiwan area. Analysis the difference of traditional and western house like open-space in front of house, hall, veranda, stair and toilet. Although Taiwan courtyard spirit change but the life ethic didn`t fully westernization. It didn`t abandon symmetrical pattern of Taiwan tradition. In living space, the process of modernization combines “function guide” and “western style”. Western thought reform movement during the Japanese occupation, reflected in the Western-style residences in Taiwan, which undertake a spiritual tradition has absorbed the courtyard combines exotic style, this time creating residence space phenomena of modernization.
