群聚產業內廠商規模、網絡關係、創新投入與創新績效關係之研究

摘要


隨著中國大陸經濟政策改革開放、台灣進入世界貿易組織及經營環境的轉變,造成台灣許多傳統產業原有的競爭優勢呈現逆轉。傳統的策略規劃模式,已無法幫助企業組織面對當今高度不確定和不穩定的市場環境。而「群聚」在此動盪不安的環境中,具備了能有效凝聚廠商、降低廠商成本、提升廠商績效,是目前企業與各國政府相當關注的焦點之一,在政策也積極協助配合吸引廠商進駐。群聚可以說是目前政府提升國家競爭力與企業提升自身競爭力常使用的方法之一。在企業提升競爭力的同時,除了不斷地找尋降低生產成本的地點之外,主要關注的焦點還是在「創新」上面。創新可以有效地提升廠商的競爭能力、拉開與對手的差距,也是為企業創造獲利的主要來源。 過去學者對於「群聚」與「創新」的探討非常多,結合群聚與創新兩者加以探討的文章也不少。但是,先前研究對於群聚中廠商關係的探討,常常都是藉由比較群聚內外廠商來探討網絡關係對創新的影響程度。而鮮少有研究專注在探討群聚內的廠商是受到何種網絡關係之影響,而造成群聚內的創新比群聚外的廠商高。因此,本研究以水五金產業為實證進行探討,藉由探討群聚產業內廠商規模、網絡關係、創新投入與創新績效之間的相互關係;找出廠商在群聚中,究竟是哪一種網絡關係對於群聚廠商的創新有顯著的影響力,則為本研究最主要的課題。 本研究以問卷調查法進行調查,針對彰化縣鹿港地區水五金產業廠商負責人為填答對象,實得有效樣本129份,有效問卷回收率40.9%;統計分析採因素分析、集群分析、相關分析。本研究結果發現:1.廠商規模越大,其公司創新投入機會越大;2.廠商規模越小,投入產品創新的機會越大;3.廠商規模越大,公司的創新績效結果越好;4.廠商規模越大,公司通過專利認證越多;5.廠商員工人數越多,其公司產品知名度越高;6.垂直合作關係越高,廠商創新投入機會越大。

The purpose of this study is to analysis the relationship between firm size, network, innovation and innovation performance in industrial cluster. The questionnaire survey research method is applied in this study.Questionnaires are sent to manager and CEO of faucet firms which are selected from the database of Changhua County Government in Taiwan 2006. We send out 315 questionnaires altogether, which receiveing effective questionnaires 129 shares. Therefore, the effective recovery rate is 40.9%. The series of analyses are made by using SPSS 13.0 software, including factor analysis, correlation analysis, and cluster analysis. The results are mainly as below: 1. The firm size is larger, the possibility of using innovation is stronger. 2. The firm size is smaller, the possibility of using product innovation is more. 3. The firm size is larger, the innovation performance is better. 4. The firm size is larger, the number of patents of firm are more. 5. The number of employee are more, the products of firm are more famous. 6. The horizontal cooperation relationship degree are more, the possibility of using innovation is stronger.
