《貓緣》動畫創作論述暨探討逐格影描在水彩動畫之技術研究

摘要


本論文提出《貓緣》動畫創作,故事取材於作者自身與貓相處的兩段經歷,分別是年幼時領養的黑貓及長大成年後撿到的流浪貓,希望藉此喚醒人們對動物生命的愛心與責任感。 清新的水彩風格比真實的相片更具美感,全片採水彩繪製並穿插實拍鏡頭,讓動畫故事更為生動,一部成功的水彩動畫,在手繪技巧方面固然重要,市面上的繪圖軟體已有模擬水彩風格的電腦技術,但這種技術始終只能當作輔助功能,運用在動畫上並不能呈現出完美的水彩效果,雖然3D動畫技術在現代已經漸漸取代了傳統2D手繪動畫,但是2D的手繪風格依然有它獨特的藝術性,是3D所無法取代的視覺風格。 本論文將探討以實拍影片與手繪風格結合之逐格影描技術動畫,藉由文獻資料的蒐集與動畫影片做分析探究其特色與創作內容,以及《貓緣》動畫中所包含的元素,經由創作的過程探討虛實影像逐格影描後所呈現的視覺風格之特色以及動畫技巧。

Based on a true story, the creation of this animation"my bond with cats" is inspired by the author's own life experience with two cats in a regular daily life. One black cat was adopted when the author was young and the other was a stray cat the author picked up on the street. The main purpose of this story is the author's intention to wake up our love and responsibilities for animals. By using a fresh hand-painted color pictures than the still photos, it makes the whole story more vivid and provides more esthetic pleasures. The hand-painted skill plays an important role to a successful water-color style animation. Although the software of painting in current market has provided the technology to imitate the effect, but it only offers supplementary function. It can hardly show the perfection of water-color effect, at least for now. Currently, the 3D animation technology has superseded the traditional hand-painted skill of 2D, but the hand-painted style still maintains its distinctive artistic quality and its visual effects that 3D can't never take over. We are going to discuss the combination of physical cinematography and hand-painted method in this paper. Through the collection of documents and analysis of the animation, we can explore it's features and contents of creation, plus the elements in "My Bond with Cats" . Also, to look into the visual effect and technology of animation through series of real and surreal images.
