舊木新器之拼木產品創作

摘要


本研究旨在開發舊料的使用可能以推廣友善環境的概念,因應自然木材的資源日益珍貴,卻又隨處可見遭浪費的木材、丟棄的木料,因此筆者收集、整理舊料並將之運用於拼板。拼板過程中為求量產穩定,舊料、新料是搭配使用,並且運用之板材具有三種拼法,分別為平行拼、斷面拼、指接拼。 文獻探討則針對木材特性、拼板運用與情感設計進行整合,因拼板產品之目的為推廣綠色材料的使用,因此將利用產品來對消費者傳達理念,在探討過程中整理出產品策略的設定具有五點,分別為:有效辨識的產品設計因子、對產品態度的承諾、明確產品定義、持續與在地文化的連結、不斷進化並持續產品風格。 案例分析就造型、色彩、質紋與功能來解析五個品牌及工藝,發現現有之木製產品具有相當集中在質感與色彩之設計,因此後續研究亦可由此進行探討。本研究之創作系列以古器新作、生活小品、餘料設計三個部分呈現,並以系列創作推廣筆者的產品理念,期許環境友善的概念落實。

This research is aimed at developing the use of old materials based on the concept of eco-friendly promotion in response to the situation of increasingly precious natural wood resources and prevailing atmosphere of wasting wood, abundant wooden materials. In consequence, I collected and arranged the old materials for designing into puzzles. For the purpose of gaining stable products, the old and new materials are all applied, the wooden boards can be pieced together under three methods, namely, parallel mosaic, cross-section mosaic and finger-jointed mosaic. The document reviews are involved in the integration of wood characters, board application as well as emotional designs. The product is focusing on delivering ideas because the products designed is for promoting and advocating the use of green materials. The settings of product strategy are divided into five points during discussion processes: namely, recognizable product design factors, commitment to product attitudes, clear product definition, constant connections with local cultures and unceasing evolution and continuous product styles. Five brands and techniques are analyzed from the perspective of shape, color, texture and function. From the analyses, we find that the current wooden products are characterized by concentrated designs which provide a clue for further exploration. The creation series are displayed based on three parts, i.e. old material&new creation, housewares and oddments design, from which expects to promote my product idea and puts eco-friendly concept into practice.
