古蹟再利用與膠囊旅館結合之設計

摘要

萬華為一個台北繁榮的起源，隨著時代的變化，台北重要地區西移，但萬華地區有許多古蹟保留下來，但卻被閒置，另一方面台灣的自由行背包客逐年增加，卻缺少了讓外來的旅客可以深度了解台北歷史的方式，故本設計以「古蹟再利用」對於「萬華歷史的變化」可能扮演的角色為設計課題。
　　本論文主要目的為如何利用萬華區現有的古蹟文化資源來達成增進以文化古都為核心的萬華區的文化資產的產能，從萬華現有的古蹟中根據環境及地理位置的考量，以萬華林宅此古蹟將之再利用為旅客的休息站，意即為「古蹟再利用與膠囊旅館結合之設計」。本設計將會從文獻回顧中參考過往國內外再利用的經驗以及在國內古蹟相關法規的限制下，思考萬華林宅的使用方式，並分析周邊環境特徵並對周邊的特質做出量體及出入口的處置，且考量林宅原有的立面樣貌，分析出其特徵，再經由多次草案評估與修正，得出定案之設計。
　　本設計主要內容為以旅館做為旅客的休息節點，並藉由萬華林宅做為連接萬華古都的起點，藉由萬華林宅的歷史文化，做為歷史介紹的開端，使得閒置的古蹟-萬華林宅，因再利用而有了生機，並做為連接其他古蹟的種子，進而接觸到萬華古都的歷史深度旅遊，是為提供來訪旅客一個良好切入的契機。

Wan-hua used to be the origin of Taipei’s prosperity. As the westward movement of important regions in Taipei City, there are still many historical sites were left in Wan-hua District. As backpackers travelling Taiwan by themselves gradually increased, methods to let foreign travelers to deeply understand Taipei histories are still insufficient. Therefore, this design proposed “reuse of heritages” suggestions for these idle historical sites to investigate issues about the potential roles that these heritages may played in “historic changes of Wan-hua”.
　　In this paper, the main purposes about how to utilize the existing heritage resources to reach the purposes of enhancing capabilities of making the cultural assets in Wan-hua District as the centers to establish Wan-hua into an ancient capital of cultures. Considering the environment and locations, Wan-hua Lins’ building was chosen to reused as the resting stop for travelers from the existing heritages in Wan-hua District, which is also “the Architectural design of Monuments Reuse and Capsule hotel Combination”. This design would discuss the experiences of heritage reuse in foreign countries from literatures and consider the restrictions of related regulations and laws about domestic historical sites to think about the use of Wan-hua Lins’ building in Wan-hua District and analyze the surrounding environmental characters to design the amount of body and gateways. Considering the existing façade appearances of Lins’ building and analyzing the characters, finalized design was proposed after several times of evaluations and draft amendments.
　　The man content of this design is to utilize hotels to serve as the resting nodes for travelers and to make Wan-hua Lins’ building become the origin for connecting Wan-hua ancient capital. Via the history and culture of Wan-hua Lins’ building as the beginning for introduction of Wan-hua history, the idle historical site- Wan-hua Lins’ building regains vitality from the reuse and can become a seed to connect other historical sites, which further increases the depth of historical tour to Wan-hua ancient capital and provides a good cutting point for visiting travelers.
