桌上遊戲對幼兒蔬果喜好之影響

摘要


研究背景:近年來發現,大多的幼兒不喜愛吃蔬菜、水果的比例逐漸上升,對油炸物、含糖飲料則是特別喜愛,導致幼兒的飲食習慣,逐漸養成偏食等不良的狀況;本研究以藉由桌上遊戲的方式,讓幼兒認識食物,並學習正確的營養觀念,提升幼兒對蔬菜、水果的喜好。 研究方法:本研究採實驗研究法,研究對象選取臺中一間市立幼兒園大班(五足歲至未滿七歲)之幼兒40位,採隨機分配控制組與實驗組,控制組無桌上遊戲介入,實驗組桌上遊戲介入,時間為期一個月,一週執行一次共四次,一次約為20至30分鐘,比較分析控制組與實驗組之幼兒在桌上遊戲介入後對蔬菜、水果的認識及喜好程度之差異情形。 研究結果:實驗組幼兒在桌上遊戲介入後,對蔬果的認識顯著高於控制組之幼兒;此外,實驗組幼兒在桌上遊戲介入後,對蔬果的喜好程度亦顯著高於控制組。 結論:桌上遊戲介入能提升幼兒對蔬菜、水果的認識及喜好,從遊戲中以「玩中學」的方式進而提升幼兒在營養教育上的知識,也學習到蔬菜、水果對身體的幫助,透過遊戲方式,並伴隨著趣味性,有助於幼兒建立正確的飲食觀念。

Background : Recent studies have suggested the children do not like to eat vegetables, fruits gradually increased, but the portion of fries, sweetened beverages are especially like. Leads to young children's eating habits, tendency has fostered an unwholesome diet. This study by board games, which allows children to learn about food and learn the correct concept of nutrition, improve their dietary behavior regarding fruits and vegetables. Methods : This study applied a controlled trial research methodology. A total of 40 young children aged 5–6 years were selected from a kindergarten class located in Taichung City. Participating young children were randomly assigned to two independent groups: control and experiment. The control group did not experience any board game-based interventions; however, the experiment group was involved in intervention practices. Executed over a 1 month trial, this study completed 4 trial sessions per week with each session lasting approximately 20–30 minutes. During the study period, evaluations of the control and experiment groups were performed to determine the effect of board game-based interventions on the nutritional knowledge and diet preferences of young children regarding fruits and vegetables Results : For the post-experimental assessments, the young children in the experimental group demonstrated a higher knowledge of fruits and vegetables than the control group did. In addition, the young children in the experimental group also exhibited a higher preference for fruits and vegetables. Conclusions: The board game-based interventions improved the nutritional knowledge and diet behavior of young children regarding fruits and vegetables. A “play-based” learning approach should be able to improve nutritional education and build healthy eating practices regarding fruits and vegetables through an entertaining method.
