河川底泥壬基酚在不同pH値與不同分子量黃酸之相互反應

摘要


壬基酚(nonylphenol, NP)結構式與雌性荷爾蒙相似,具有高潛式之生物內分泌干擾物質(Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals, EDCs),又稱為環境賀爾蒙。壬基酚屬於高疏水性(hydrophobicity)以及低溶解性(Solubility)有機微汙染物(log Kow =4.48),易與底泥中腐質化物質(humic substance, HS)產生反應。本研究添加壬基酚(NP)以及添加0.02%乙基汞硫柳酸鈉(sodium ethylmercurthiosalicyclate, thimerosal)殺菌劑之河川底泥懸浮液,再利用0.1 M HCl及0.1 M NaOH調節其pH值為4.00,6.00及8.00,結果pH 4.00時壬基酚易被萃出, pH 8.00時壬基酚則不易被萃取;再分別添加分子量MW>1000黃酸(fulvic acid, FA)以及MW<1000黃酸(FA),於室溫下測定壬基酚與黃酸之反應,在MW<1000黃酸反應效果較MW>1000黃酸佳,分子量小,體表面積大可吸附較多壬基酚。 而在三種質地分別為石英砂、大里橋之底泥、立新國中之底泥,吸附壬基酚(NP)以立新國中之底泥最佳,而底泥中含有大量的有機態碳,吸附情況與離子強度不同而有所不同;石英砂則是惰性資材不容易吸附住壬基酚。

Structural formula of Nonylphenol which is similar with estrogen ,having high-submersible biological endocrine disruptors, is known as environmental hormones. Nonylphenol is hydrophobic organic micro-pollutants, proning to react with the sediment detritus of substance. This study adds nonylphenol and 0.02% Thimerosal of rivers suspension sediment, using 0.1 M HCl and 0.1 M NaOH adjusting the pH to 4.00、6.00 and 8.00 later. The result is that Nonylphenol could be easily extracted at pH 4.00 and not be extracted easily at pH 8.00. The reaction of nonylphenol with fulvic acid at room temperature was carried out by adding MW> 1000(FA)and MW <1000 fulvic acid respectively. MW< 1000 (FA) is better than MW >1000.Because of its less molecular weight and bigger body surface area, fulvic acid can adsorb more nonylphenol. The three kinds of texture ,quartz sand, mud of Dali bridge, mud of Lixin junior high school at the bottom,are analyzed in the experiment. Mud of Lixin junior high school at the bottom has the best adsorption of NP.And the mud contains numerous of organic carbon along with different adsorption and ionic strength.However, quartz sand is inert material had few adsorption of NP.
