真實/潛在身體-以捷運忠孝復興站與商務旅館為例

摘要


地下街是個充滿限制的人工環境,對週遭的觀察無法以眼睛為主,經驗是片段、破碎難以構成對環境的整體認知,人以身體做為媒介/平台對客觀的外在空間探索,進而獲得各種線索,藉著這種來回對話投射出潛在的身體來建構出對空間的認知,並取代真實的身體形成主觀的身體空間。與白天城市的空間經驗相照下,這是一種近似於夜晚認知的狀況:擬黑夜。 在研究的過程與方法中,本研究首先引用梅洛龐帝的知覺現象學觀點,及其他空間認知發展理論,對人認知空間的形成進行探討 其次,以尋路行為的實驗設計觀察、分析人在擬黑夜環境中,對空間感的體察與建構,綜合梅氏對身體與外在環境的討論,整理歸納出身體與空間相互作用而形成認知空間的過程,且依據此過程中所依賴的前結構,推演台北市捷運蛛網完工後,人對都市環境認知的改變。 最後,加入對旅客時間性的討論,並操作基地自然光的引導及阻擋,以誘發或過渡對當地時間性的感知,及內部空間中活動的安排來幫助空間經驗自擬黑夜轉換至白晝,將旅客因真實環境對潛在身體產生的衝突過度,進而提出一個共構體上的商務旅館作為旅客進入城市入口時所應扮演角色的可能性。

Underground Street is an artificial environment that is full of limitations. Peripheral observation cannot be all counted on eye observation. Experiences are fragmented and broken which are hard to build up concepts for the entire environment. People use their bodies as media/platforms to explore the subjective outside space to gain all kinds of clues and use this type of communication to reflect into potential body to build up concepts for space and replace real body to form subjective body space. Comparing with the space experience of the day-time city, this is a near-night time concept: night simulation. In the research process and method, we first of all use Merleau Ponty''s Phiminlolgy of Perception and other cognitive space development theory to discuss people’s cognitive space formation. Secondly, we observe and analyze the interpersonal investigation and the building up of extensity by the experimental design of Way-finding behavior. Combining with the discussion of body and environment by Merleau Ponty, we collect and sum up the process of forming cognitive space by the interaction between body and space. We then use the pre-structure relied in the process as a reference to deduce the changes in people’s perceptions to the city environment after the completion of Taipei city MRT. Finally, the discussion on traveler timeliness is added and construction site natural light is guided and blocked to induce or transit the perception of local timeliness. Internal space activities are arranged to help with the space experience to simulate night to day transformation to reduce traveler’s potential conflict produced by body caused by real environment and bring forward the possibility of business hotel’s role as travelers enter the city.
