汽車生活實驗社區

20世紀之前，汽車帶給人們希望與夢想，是邁向進步的象徵。人們藉著汽車而快速的改變了生活型態，大家可至別的城市工作，縮短城鄉之間距離，汽車的便利性與其物件價值的象徵意義更加速汽車的發展。然而，近年來汽車所帶來的不再是夢想，許多問題使得人們不得不思考汽車的必要，但是新的技術發展讓汽車的未來有了轉機，汽車生活並不會消失。本研究藉由對汽車與道路空間的討論，及所衍生出的各種新生活方式，來檢討當代生活。並利用汽車產業的基本架構與共同理念，假設一實驗性的員工宿舍區兼展示汽車生活示範社區，提出一個對於理想汽車生活的可能性設計。

By the twentieth century, automobiles have been given a hope and a dream to human beings, as a symbol of walking toward progress. With automobiles, people dramatically change their life styles. For instance, people can drive their cars to other cities to work; they don’t have to work only in cities where they live. Therefore, automobiles can play a role of shortening the distances between urban and rural areas; furthermore, the automobile convenience and its product value fasten the development of automobile industry. However, for these days, automobiles are not a dream anymore; instead, people cannot help but think its necessity. In spite of the worry, the new technological development creates a turning point automobile future; in other words, the automobile life won’t disappear. This study tries to explore the contemporary life by discussion between automobiles and the road spaces and its derived various new life styles. Also, based on the basic framework and the common philosophy of automobile industry, this study tries to propose a possible design of automobile life, taking an experimental employee dormitory as well as a community where demonstrates automobile life as an example.
