本研究旨在探討從事多元文化社會工作的社會工作者所應具備之多元文化社會工作專業能力。透過調查研究,以中部某縣市多元文化社會工作人員為研究對象,寄出問卷57份,回收問卷40份,有效問卷40份,回收率70.18%,經由SPSS For Windows 12.0進行各項統計資料分析,並且採用描述性統計分析、史皮爾曼等級相關、魏氏-曼-惠特尼考驗、克-瓦二氏單因子變異數等級分析。經統計分析後得到以下研究發現: 一、 多元文化社會工作者在多元文化觀點上的認知是較高的。 二、 多元文化社會工作者具有相當高的專業知識與專業能力及勝任能力。 三、 不同背景變項對多元文化勝任能力大多沒有顯著的差異。 四、 多元文化社會工作專業才能對多元文化勝任能力有顯著性的差異。 最後,根據上述研究發現,研究者針對為機構、社會工作者與教育單位三方向提出相關之建議。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the multicultural social workers should have the ability to multi-cultural social work competence. Through research, there are 57 questionnaires been recycled, and 40 questionnaires are valid, representing a recovery rate of 70.18%. This study was conducted using SPSS 12.0 statistical data analysis, and analysed using descriptive statistics, Spearman rank correlation, Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal- Wallis one-way analysis of variance ranks. After the statistical analysis, the research findings are as follows: 1. Multicultural social workers have the higher cognitive in a multicultural point of view. 2. Multicultural social workers have a very high professional knowledge, professional skills and cultural competence. 3. There are mostly not significant differences in different background variables on multicultural competence. 4. There have significant differences in multicultural social work professional competence and multicultural competence. In the end, based on the research findings, the author makes suggestions especially in the following three areas: organizations, social workers, and education units.
