中小型金屬加工業創業成功關鍵因素之研究

摘要

台灣中部為精密機械最密集的產業部落，過往對於此供應鏈中之中小型金屬加工業創業議題研究甚少，因而激發本研究課題的動機，本研究目的旨在探討中小型金屬加工業創業成功關鍵因素，採用質性研究之紮根理論為研究方法，篩選出中彰地區創業超過十年以上之六家中小型金屬加工業專業廠商為研究對象，進行半結構式深度訪談，再將受訪者資訊彙整、歸納出中小型金屬加工業創業中所遇到的問題、因應對策，試圖分析出中小型金屬加工業創業成功關鍵因素，藉以提供給後續欲進入金屬加工業之參考。
本研究結果發現中小型金屬加工業創業成功關鍵因素有「專業技術」、「產業經驗」、「轉型」、「營運規劃」、「創業學習」、「團隊」、「景氣循環」、「人脈資源」、「財務槓桿應用」、「廠房設備」等十項。

This research is motivated by the fact that central Taiwan is the home to most precision machinery companies in Taiwan, but very few studies were conducted on the topic of entrepreneurship of the small and medium metal processing companies in this supply chain in the past. The purpose of this research is to investigate the key success factors of entrepreneurship for the small and medium metal processing companies. Grounded theory, a qualitative research approach, is used as the research method. Six small and medium metal processing companies located in Taichung and Changhua areas that are at least 10 years old are selected as research objects. Research data collected from the semi-structure in-depth interviews with research objects is used to sum up the problems faced by small and medium metal processing companies and their response strategies when their businesses were started. The goal is to identify the key success factors of entrepreneurship for the small and medium metal processing companies. Those factors may serve as references for those companies that are seeking to enter metal processing industry in the future.
The research findings reveal ten key success factors of entrepreneurship for the small and medium metal processing companies. They are “technical expertise”, “industry experiences”, “transformation”, “operational planning”, “entrepreneurial learning”, “team building”, “business cycles”, “human networks”, “use of financial leverage”, “plant and equipment”.
