本研究旨在探討不同人格特質高職幼保科學生之生涯抉擇歷程與影響因素。主要研究目的為:一、探討高職幼保科學生具備那些人格特質。二、探討影響高職幼保科學生生涯抉擇之歷程及影響因素。三、探討高職幼保科學生人格特質如何影響生涯抉擇。研究方法採質性研究為主,量化研究為輔。以彰化縣某私立高職幼保科應屆畢業生作為研究對象,研究對象共83人,先實施人格測驗,分析幼保科學生人格特質的類型,並從五種人格特質的前百分之8,作為典型人格特質,徵求訪談意願後篩選每一典型特質各兩位,共計10位,做為半結構訪談之研究對象。研究結果顯示,高職幼保科學生人格特質以親和性最多,其次為開放性及勤勉性,較少為外向性及情緒敏感性。其生涯抉擇之歷程共有懵懂期、發展期及決定期三個階段。不同人格特質在個人興趣、學習經驗、師生關係及家庭關係之間會有不同的影響程度。
The study is to investigate how personality traits influence early childcare vocational high school students on career choice. The purposes of this study are as follows, 1. To investigate what kind of personality traits the early childcare vocational high school students possess. 2. To investigate what factors will influence the early childcare vocational high school students on career choice and the choosing process. 3. To investigate how the personality traits influence the early childcare vocational high school students’ career choice. This study is conducted mainly in a qualitative way and also supplemented with the quantitative method. The eighty-three participants are early childcare graduate students in a private vocational high school in Changhua County. A Personality Traits Survey is implemented to analyze students’ personality traits and the types. Top 8% will be classified as classical personality traits. Two interviewers for each personality trait are selected. Ten Semi-structured interviewers are the participants in total. The result shows Agreeableness is the main trait the early childcare vocational high school graduate students possess, and follows with Openness to Experience and Conscientiousness. Extraversion and Neuroticism are hard to be found. The participants will experience precontemplation, development and decision stages. Different personality traits will have different influence in terms of personal interests, learning experiences, teacher-student relationship and family relationship.
