台灣超市商品銷售與氣候變化影響之研究

摘要


資料探勘之相關技術,適合於龐大資料庫之中,發掘出有價值的知識,以供企業經營決策的參考;而零售業藉由銷售點系統與資料庫、資料倉儲等技術,可以獲得並儲存大量的銷售交易資料,相當適合利用資料探勘之技術,進行相關銷售知識的發掘與探討。 台灣的地理位置位於亞熱帶,一年四季分明,氣溫與濕度等明確的氣候變化,極可能影響一般消費者在零售通路消費時的選擇;本研究之目的,在於為了瞭解台灣氣候對於零售通路銷售的影響,因此本研究利用資料探勘中分類與分群的技術作為研究方法,針對零售業者的銷售資料與台灣氣候資料進行相關的分析與探討,並整理出相關的氣候與銷售資料作為本研究之結論,希望可以作為零售業在不同季節的促銷活動與商品規劃的參考。

The related technique of data mining is applicable to be used among a huge database for revealing valuable knowledge, which can be contributed to the department of enterprise management as a reference during the process of decision-making; as to the retailer industry, it is applicable to acquire and save a great deal of transaction data of sales by means of technologies of the Real Time Point Of Sale (POS) System, database and data warehousing etc., thus it is rather appropriate to utilize the technique of the data mining in order to reveal and study all related knowledge of sales accordingly. Taiwan belongs to the subtropical zone geographically, it has four distinctive seasons in a year, therefore the explicit variance of the climate, such as the temperature and relative humidity etc., may potentially affect the general consumers in selecting retailing channels upon purchasing; the objective of the present study lies in studying the sales of the retailing channels influenced by the variance of climate in Taiwan area, therefore the present study utilizes the classification and clustering techniques used in the data mining as the research methods, focusing on the relevant analysis and studies in the sales data of retailers with climate data of Taiwan, and then summarizes the related climate and sales data as the conclusion of the present study, and sincerely hope that it can be contributed to the retailer industry as a reference for planning both the promotion activities as well as merchandise in different season
