小面積定位-以影像辨識之筆式輸入為例

摘要


在本篇論文提出一個利用影像辨識技術來實現小面積平面定位。這個方法是利用架設於平面旁的相機擷取影像,經由影像處理與分析,來獲得觀測物在平面上的實際位置。精準地找到定位目標點對人機介面應用中的輸入設備而言,是其中一項關鍵技術。許多利用影像視覺技術來進行定位的研究,多半採取正面取得影像的方式來進行定位分析。從實現或是使用的觀點來看,這樣的設計方式會帶來許多限制。這個研究提供一個利用觀測物的側面所擷取影像資訊,來實現一個小面積定位技術,它亦可提供筆式輸入硬體利用影像技術的一個新的設計方式。

This paper presents an image-based method for positioning a target point on a small area. The method locates the target point by analyzing the images captured from the area-associated cameras. Precisely detecting a target point on an area is one of the key points for the human computer interactive applications such as the pen-based computing input devices. Some researchers use the image-based techniques to locate the target point. The existing approaches that utilize the image-based techniques locate the target point by analyzing the images from the hanging cameras on the top of the area. There are quite restrictions on realizing or using. The image-based method proposed in this paper provides a novel design for the pen-based input device.
