提昇敏捷製造與大量客製化能力之做法

摘要


傳統的製造業一向是以規模經濟與大量生產的方式來降低成本;如今,卻面臨市場瞬息萬變及顧客需求多樣化的競爭環境。由文獻探討得知大量客製化和敏捷製造具有滿足顧客需求的競爭力,以及快速回應市場變化的能力與彈性之特質,所以企業需實施大量客製化與敏捷製造以提昇競爭優勢。因為過去學者提出大量客製化與敏捷製造的生產理念,其中大部份屬概念上的論述,較少有實務做法方面的研究。因此本研究期望透過文獻探討檢視大量客製化做法對大量客製化能力、敏捷製造做法對敏捷能力與敏捷製造能力對大量客製化能力的影響,進而實証彼此間的關係。本研究以2006年台灣經濟新報所公布的台灣上市、上櫃製造業,便利抽樣500家公司做為研究樣本,利用問卷調查進行資料收集。實證資料先用SPSS 14.0 forWindows統計軟體,進行信度分析,再使用AMOS 6.0統計軟體進行結構方程式建模(Structural Equation Modeling, SEM)來分析,針對模型之配適度進行檢定,並評估各路徑之效果,進而檢定本研究假設。研究結果發現,大量客製化做法對大量客製化能力、敏捷製造做法對敏捷製造能力及敏捷製造能力對大量客製化能力,彼此均有顯著的正向影響。由上述可知,提昇大量客製化能力的方法,除了大量客製化做法外,也需透過結合敏捷製造做法,來達到企業本身競爭能力。

Traditionally, manufacturing firms were always decreasing cost by economies of scale and mass production. Nowadays, the manufacturing firm faces both the market environment and customers’ needs change instantly, and global competition. From literature review, this study finds that mass customization and agile manufacturing can meet these requirements, so firms have to implement mass customization and agile manufacturing to enhance their competition advantage. Up to now, the concept of mass customization and agile manufacturing proposed by scholars, most on theoretical description, few on empirical research. Therefore, this study expects to explore the impact of mass customization practices on mass customization capability, the impact of agile manufacturing practices on agile manufacturing capability and the impact of agile manufacturing practices on mass customization capability by literature view. Then, empirical test the relationships among them. This study uses the publicly traded company in Taiwan reported by Taiwan Economics Journal in 2006 as research subjects. 500 were sampled by convenience sampling. Empirical data were collected by using a mailing questionnaire and then run Exploratory Factor Analysis of SPSS 14.0 for Windows and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 6.0 to test the fit of model, evaluate the path effects and test research hypotheses. The test results indicate that the impact of mass customization practices on mass customization capability, the impact of agile manufacturing practices on agile manufacturing capability, and the impact of agile manufacturing practices on mass customization capability, each have a positive impact.
