Under high frequency, Ni-Mn ferrites have good magnetic characteristics. It is known that the cobalt ions can improve the anisotropy of ferrites make the domain walls stabilized and then increase the resonance frequency . The magnetic properties of Ni-Mn ferrites ware measured, such as μ’-f curve、μ”-f curve、 microstructures(SEM) and crystal structure. The results showed that the resonance frequency was increased and the μ’ was lowered as the cobalt ion content was increased or the sintering temperature was lowered. Thus, doping of the cobalt ions is an effective way in the manufacturing of ferrite materials for high frequency applications. The conditions of sintering processes would also be fine tuned to match the application of the Ni-Mn ferrites.
