摘要


在IEEE 802.11無線網路的環境中可利用多頻道增加網路的產出量明顯的比利用單一頻道來的多。在這篇論文中,我們提出一個於一根天線與無法獲得整個網路集中資訊的限制下的多頻道多媒體存取協定(CD-MAC protocol),用來改善MMAC協定浪費頻寬的問題,另外,降低在協調頻道時控制封包的碰撞,以增進網路的產出量。在我們所提出的CD-MAC協定中,固定的ATIM window被分成兩個階段。第一個階段稱為Decide Channel Window (DCW),它是用來協調分配第二階段中來源節點(source)與目的地節點(destination)將位在哪個頻道上。第二個階段稱為 Exchange Packet Window (EPW),它是來源節點與目的地節點利用控制封包來競爭資料傳輸的使用權。我們所提出的CD-MAC協定有效的分散來源節點與目的地節點去競爭資料傳輸的使用權,使得封包的碰撞可以被降低,並且提高網路的產出量。實驗的部份顯示出我們所提出的CD-MAC協定能夠有效的善用多頻道並且分散競爭的來源節點與目的地節點以達到較高的網路產出量。

Multiple channels are available for use in IEEE 802.11 and throughput of network can increase by using multiple channels than a single channel obviously. In this paper, we proposed a novel multi-channel MAC protocol that enables nodes under the constraint of one half duplex radio and without centralized knowledge of network by switching channels dynamically. In our CD-MAC protocol, it divides the fixed ATIM window into two phases. The first divided small window of the fixed-time interval is called Decide Channel Window (DCW) that is used for source and destination to decide which the second divided small window of the fixed-time interval in. The second divided small window of the fixed-time interval is called Exchange Packet Window (EPW) that is pair source and destination nodes compete to use the channel to transfer packets. By using this technique well, we can distribute pair source and destination nodes to compete data channel, thus collisions can be decreased hugely, and throughput can be increased. The simulation results show that our protocol successfully exploits that use bandwidth of multiple channels well and distribute pair nodes to achieve higher throughput.
