Analysis and design of BJT process monolithic PWM controller to reduce harmonics for inverters without microprocessor is proposed in this thesis. The low-order harmonics can be reduced by using the equal-area techniques to obtain switching angles as starting angles can solve nonlinear equations. The circuit of proposed technique which is able to adjust both voltage、frequency and reduce the harmonics that is very suitable for ac motor driving to minimize noise and torque pulsations.
