交握電路於SystemC之設計與實作

摘要


由於電子產品功能日益精進及電路製程技術不斷的提升,使得產品的電子線路越來越複雜,因此電磁干擾及電磁相容性成為電路設計的關鍵。非同步電路由於免除了時脈的產生因此能夠有效的減少電磁輻射的產生,十分適用於設計低電磁干擾的電路。 另外電子產品的生命週期越來越短,因此如何縮短產品的上市時程(Time to Market)變得非常重要。系統層級設計(System level design,SLD)可以降低系統設計的複雜度,縮短產品的上市時程。 本論文利用SystemC在系統層級設計的優勢以及交握元件(handshake components)的高度可重用性. 在SystemC環境中開發大量較簡單的交握元件,將其建構成複雜度較高的handshake circuits以縮短上市時程。

Due to the improvement of electronics product and technology, circuit complexity is increasing. Therefore, Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) and Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) become the key point of circuit design. The behavior of charging and discharging will produce electromagnetic radiation in digital circuit design. This kind of electromagnetic radiation will influence the circuit around to cause EMI. The main reason of electromagnetic radiation in electronic products is clock generation. Using asynchronous circuit design can decrease electromagnetic radiation because of no clock generation. Thus, it is very suitable for designing low EMI circuit. In addition, the life cycles of electronics products are getting shorter and shorter. How to shorten time to market becomes an important issue. System level design can reduce complexity of system design and shorten time to market. This thesis combines the advantages of SystemC in system level design, and the high reusability of handshake components. We develop many simple handshake components and build up high complexity handshake circuits in SystemC environment to shorten time to market.
