在無線感測網路中設計一個電量已知的節能資料儲存方法

摘要


無線感測網路目前已被廣泛的運用在軍事、環境監測以及生物追蹤等相關領域。而由於無線感測器有體積小、低成本的特性,且通常使用電池作為主要電力來源。因此如何降低電力消耗速度,延長感測器生命週期就成為相當重要的議題。而一個好的資料儲存與查詢機制將有效降低電力的損耗,提升感測網路的使用時間。本論文針對感測器中電力已知,提出一個新的感測器醒睡排程方法,讓醒睡的排程可以依據感測器剩餘電量來安排,讓低電量感測器進入睡眠的時間比高電量感測器長,如此便可延長整個感測網路的生命週期。

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are widely used in fields related to military purposes, environmental monitoring and biological tracing. But sensors are small, low-costs and limited in memory, computational capacities and power, how to prolong their life time by reducing power consumption is crucial importance. A good data storage and query scheme will effectively reduce power consumption and increase life time of the sensor networks. A new sensor sleeping schedule is proposed in this paper for power aware sensors, which will be arranged according to the power of sensors; the life time of the whole sensor network can be prolonged by allowing low power sensors to enter sleep mode for a longer time than high power ones.
